My sister and brother in law live in Huntsville Texas about an hour and a half north of Houston. Something was killing their chickens so they put out a trap and ...
Bobcat City - Studying Urban Cats - Texas Parks and Wildlife [Official]
Our pets are not the only cats prowling around urban areas at night. A research project is shedding new light on how bobcats live among us in the suburbs and ...
Several years ago I was fishing the hot water outlet on Lake Bastrop when I
observed something swimming across the channel. As I got closer I was not
able to identify the animal until it got to shore and jumped out of the
water, it was a bobcat. It shook off the water and walked off into the
woods.
That is such important work they are doing. With more cities we need to
figure out how to preserve the animals the will keep populations or animals
like rats down. Bobcats do a great service at that.
That was a fantastic video, showing scientific research in action. It would
be wonderful to have your researchers come share with my AP Environmental
Science students in Lovejoy ISD, Lucas TX. PB
Love these guys. Work freaking out about one around for 2 years. I
take one of these then 100 rats :) They are not a threat. count
your self lucky if you see one.
I've seen two bobcats in Heath, Tx. We do have a lot of wooded land and
open fields though. So I guess you couldn't call it "urban". Interesting
video!
what the ffff. america is so far out on its own wavelength when it comes to
humour. there is nothing to get or not get, this just so gaddamn basic and
juvenile. its like a precocious 10 year old could write this lowest common
denominator stuff. snl is so bad it fascinates me that it is so popular.
there must be a unique chip in the american brain that makes them laugh at
something as simple as this or letterman's top 10 lists. y'all weirdos,
just know that.
+Freshie207 i don't mind some absurdist stuff. monty python and the mighty boosh are classics. key and peele's obama skits and curb your enthusiasm both crack me up but i dunno if they're considered absurdist. in general though i usually find darker comedy or satirical stuff funniest. in bruges, trainspotting, the daily show, etc. 8 out of 10 cats and anthony bourdain usually get a laugh out of me.
@Sportsrect2003 Hmm.. I just noticed that.. as many times as I have been
there.. there is not that many fans there.. a good amount but not a lot..
