Amazing video. I am soaking all the info in because I love learning about
Young Living. Thanks for making it easy to understand from a Chiropractor
perspective. It was great to hear your story how you got started. I will be
saving this to my YL favorites.☺️
I do use another Essential Oil for very specific reasons that exceed far
beyond anything I could ask think or imagine. But this was very
interesting. Thank you. My sister use to be with Young Living too and she
is very knowledgeable in Essential Oils.

The praises and warnings of essential oils
By: Christina Butler YORK, Pa. -- It's a growing trend, with more and more people using essential oils for anything from weight loss to improving health, but the ...
The Big Essential Oil Showdown
During the last couple of months I have researched essential oils. Through this research I have uncovered a fascinating world of lies and here I'm sharing what I ...
Hello, my wife is wanting to buy essential oils. I'm a bit skeptical so
I've been trying to do some research and came across your video, I'm not
sure if I missed it but witch essential oils did you end up going with?
Great video. I had a very similar process to yours when looking for
essential oils. Really cheap ones that were more of fragrances, then the
very expensive ones, then middle of the road. I bought from a few different
companies and I enjoyed the ones I could ingest like citrus essential oils
I would add to my water. Some were so yummy and sweet but I never even
thought there might be other ingredients in them. I found out the
ingestable ones from the companies I was buying from were mixed with other
things like vanilla to give a more desirable flavor. I started learning the
ingredients in others and finding out that many of the oils were in essence
"watered down" with similar oils that were cheaper. I have ended up going
with one of the larger companies strictly because they were one of the only
places I could find that was 100% across the board not diluted down oils. I
am a member of the company I buy from from but I do not sell the oils. I
encourage others to get out and do their own research. Exactly like you
did. Everyone gets to make their own choice for sure! For me it came down
to paying more money to be sure I was getting 100% oil. "Therapeutic grade"
means nothing to me, but having a simple ingredients list does. Some places
put really unnecessary stuff in their oils. It tends to be the expensive
oils like jasmine, frankensince, or rose that have been diluted. Hopefully
more people will do their own research.
+Jordan Nicole I thought very much like you before we began visiting the warehouses of the major companies selling in USA. When taken into their warehouses where we saw barrels full of oils used expressly for adulterating (diluting) I was shocked! These are some of the companies that state their oils are all great! Well, adulteration is a game where by they company pays for example $100 per kg. Traditional markup might be $200. But these companies are making more like $5,000 on that kg by adulterating them with other oils! It is horrible and a scam! And the MLMs make that $200 kg of oil more like $10,000 or more! Adulteration goes back in time farther than you can imagine! I read court docs from the 1800's all about companies being prosecuted for adulteration. Unbelievable!
Thank you so much for this video. I am having A LOT of trouble finding good
essential oils. I live in Brazil, so if you are having trouble in Europe,
it's even worse here. They are all imported and insanely expensive.
+Lu Michelini We had a company in Brazil asking us to import. I had no idea you were having difficulty getting quality oils there. We do ship worldwide but we are shipping barrels & shipping containers full by ocean shipments. I am wondering if it would be a problem with customs for your country to ship individual orders. I have been shipping other products worldwide for 20 years without any problems. Just with oils I am not sure. Drop me an email if you like and we can see what we could do for you. Our oils are organic but affordable. My name is Layla our email [email protected]
Great video! I really think this video could save people a lot of money.
You can get high quality oils for a lower price from many places. The fact
that the MLMs try so hard to convince people that all other EOs are fake or
not "therapeutic grade" shows that they are really inscure about their
prices. They are gouging people and while of course they should make a
profit there is a big difference between making a profit and price gouging.
Don't drink the kool-aid people.
+Dana Daniels OMGosh Dana! LOL That is my phrase too! I keep telling people not to drink the kool aid but instead get informed! The sad thing is that most people younger than you & I have no reference to that phrase. So I always explain! Today's cults just wear a much different face and are a bit more savvy in the brainwashing!
+Dana Daniels You are 100% correct! People just dont get it that "therapeutic grade" and the certification standards are made up lies by the MLM companies selling them.
Awesome video! I see the YL and DT cronies came marching in attempt to
discredit this information exposing their propaganda. They are their own
little army.
This is just your opinion. No more reliable than anything you claim isn't
reliable. You obviously don't understand network marketing and have decided
it is all a scam. No more of a scam than the big box store (news flash they
make money off you when you buy products from them) . True-real essential
oils are not cheap. True no industry standards. So a company did set some
standards. Investigate the differences in network marketing....aside from
essential oils. Just because a company says its good doesn't mean it really
is. If a company sets a standard , find out what that standard is.
+Marsh B So you think owning the phrase Therapeutic Grade Oils and the telling people they are the only company with TGOs is setting a standard? No it isin,t a standard is something other companies can achieve as well. That is deceptive marketing and too many people are shelling out way too much money for EO,s from YL and DoTerra.

What is a doTERRA Essential Oil?
There are no wasted efforts in nature. Have you ever wondered what the role of essential oils is in seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants?
hi , I'd like to know more about this doterra essential oils, i am
interested in compiling stories about what the various do Terra essential
oils have done to help peoples health.
+lothamulek I'm not sure if anyone reached out to you yet, but I can teach you more about the oils. I have had a form of arthritis since I was 11, I'm 36 now and the oils and vitamins doTERRA offers have changed my life forever. I no longer take pain meds (off them for 8 months!) and use the oils on myself and my family. So happy to help others. My email is [email protected] if you would like to learn about them :) - Lori
Misleading Marketing!
doTerra uses the term “certified pure therapeutic grade” in their
marketing. Well, it’s exactly only that – marketing. There aren’t any
certified essential oils because there isn’t any recognized organization or
agency that certifies essential oils. So, doTerra coined the term, put it
on their bottles and trademarked (see the TM after the logo above) the
term. What does it mean? Nothing as their oils are not certified. They use
the term as their way of letting others know that they test their oils
(like most essential oils good providers do). But, it makes for good
marketing that doTerra sales reps (called “consultants”) and users most
often than not misunderstand to mean that the oils are certified.
+Sude Kaya doTERRA created this term to let others know that they are held to a higher standard than what the food industry requires. In fact, there is no standard way to regulate essential oils because there aren't any. There are physical documents to prove what they test. Young Living doesn't provide this. Regardless of who "trademarked" this, the proof is in the pudding. How you feel using the oils is what matters and the efficacy of the oils. Squabbling over who did what first is trivial.
+Sude Kaya Yes! This is confusing and misleading, this business of claims about "therapeutic grade" for essential oils. Young Living states "There is a significant difference between essential oils that simply smell good and those that are Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ (YLTG)." It would appear that the Young Living company TRADE-MARKED the term "therapeutic grade". aromaweb.com says "Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils is a Potentially Misleading Claim. No governmental agency or generally accepted organization "grades" or "certifies" essential oils as "therapeutic grade," "medicinal grade," or "aromatherapy grade" in the U.S. There is no formally approved grading standard used consistently throughout the essential oil industry. So WHAT, exactly, does "therapeutic grade" mean? To me, a private individual who uses essential oils in aromatherapy and perfume-making, it means nothing in fact; it is simply a term tossed around to impress. Let me add that I am not associated with any essenital oils company anywhere.
+Sude Kaya The term Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade is doTERRAs testing protocol and the standard they have indeed set for themselves which goes above and beyond your typical therapeutic grade Essential Oils. It is not misleading marketing at all because they do indeed hit that standard with every bottle and their products are amazing.

+Airdude25 The fact that you need to uplift Young Living by talking rude about other brands is really sad. If Young Living is so good, than you do not need to insult other companies. By the way, we have an oil for your anger. If Young Living was that good, it would have prevented you from spouting like a maniac.
Actually, both doTerra and Young Living are considered CPTG. doTerra is a company started by people who were a part of the Young Living company. Do your research before spouting nonsense.
Liz Scattergood your comments are coming off as sour grapes. appears that
you don't like people harnessing the power of oils without using a
"certified aromatherapist" I can do my own research, and decide for myself
if I want take oils internally. For crying out loud at least they are
natural, and not the synthetic junk people use every day to treat
themselves.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists Code of Ethics states –
No aromatherapist shall use essential oils for internal ingestion or
internal application nor shall any aromatherapist advocate or promote such
use of essential oils unless the practicing aromatherapist has medical,
naturopathic, herbalist, or similar qualifications and holds an insurance
policy which specifically covers the internal application of essential
oils. (IFA code of ethics. Simply Essential, No. 11 December 1993).
+Liz Scattergood this is over 20 years old. Times have changed and so has the ability to harness purity in essential oils. Don't let traditional methods block you from opening your mind to the possibility that nature can be taken internally. If you can eat a lemon you can take lemon oil internally when 100% pure.
