mate, we are using bex as the input, so are there any demo reports for webi, where we can practise....like these resorts, revenue measure etc, do we need to install anything in BW to use in Webi. please suggest how r u using them, is this demo content/u have loaded data

The comments below show how awkward Webi gets when the data source has generic information as opposed to information that 'knows' about fiscal year variant etc...

So the first ytd is based on a date whereas the second is based on the month: wouldn't that create a biased comparisson?

Hi, excellent video. Thanks I am trying to create a formular showing the ytd sales till today next to the ytd sales of last year till this date. How can you create the previous year information?

+Frank Peeters You could try combining the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR and DATESYTD function - something like:=CALCULATE( SUM('Transaction'[Quantity]), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR( DATESYTD('Calendar'[Date]) ) )

The first time you created Para_Product_Line parameter, there was only Books in the list of values. Then you closed it and re-created the same parameter and this time Books, Music and Videos all showed in the list of values. What did you differently the second time? I don't see any difference...Can you explain? Thank you!

Hi Amit. I have created a Custom sql with Customer parameter. The problem I am facing that it always filter the first name. The rest of the names are not showing in filter as well. It is taking the first value only and filter the data according to that.
