Safety precautions: The reaction should be conducted under a fume hood where excess hydrogen gas can be escaped. When the balloon is lit, it should also be ...

Chemical Reduction Hydrogen Generation H2 DIY "Galvanic Cell" NOT electrolysis VID 1 "Parts List"
H2SO4 + Zn Coated Fe = H2 + ZnSO4 + FeSO4 +Fe the key to making this system feasible is electricity. think batteries. rechargable batteries. now, lets say i ...
How to make copper oxide (CuO) using electrolysis
This is a demonstration video showing how to make copper oxide (CuO) using electrolysis and roasting in air.
@reboh79: submerging galvanized steel (zinc coated iron) in battery acid
(sulfuric acid, H2SO4), results in hydrogen gas being generated in numerous
quantities. the reaction builds up speed and tapers off on a typical bell
curve. the end parts of the reaction are zinc sulfate, iron sulfate, water,
and a weak solution of sulfuric acid. add anyhydrous ammonia (NH3) to this
soup to return the metals to iron and zinc, liberate MORE h2, and make a
nice fertilizer in the end (NSO4).
You're saying "atomic mass," but it sounds like you're talking about atomic
weight (i.e. relative atomic mass.) E.g., the atomic weight (relative
atomic mass) of Carbon is ~ 12.01 u, whilst the atomic mass of Carbon-12 is
12 u.
THANK YOU PROFESSOR!! I WISH YOU WERE MY CHEM TEACHER!! : ) MY BOOK DIDN'T
EXPLAIN THIS IN ENOUGH DETAIL BUT YOU REALLY HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THESE
FORMULAS, THANKS
