It does around 40 flat out, not very fast :/ It has 4 300hp bigblock Mercruiser turbodiesels, not enough because of all the weight really. With gas engines as the boat in Miami Vice or twin 2000hp Caterpillar and Arneson drives it would go much faster.

We raced one of these like 20 years ago in the Ft Lauderdale intracoastal.. we were in CIGARETTE 38".. with twin 540 Big Blocks and the Cary 50 was a turbine.... it was close.. the cary was just too heavy and we got up on step faster....

I will if I have time to edit my current video material or shot new stuff next summer if I'm able to. Right now it is 5 feet thick ice on the ocean and the boat is for sale. Subscribe and I'll keep you posted.

Very nice boat! 60mph is about right, it sounds like your speedo is accurate! 72mph is an optimistic speedo! I've got a 20 Outlaw that ran 62mph gps and the speedo was reading 69mph! Looks cool for friends though! lol Again, very good looking boat you got there!
