The Eloi are upper-class people who originally were the same species as the
Morlocks: humans. In the movie, the Eloi speak English, are normal size,
and are quite smart to some extent. However, in the book, the Eloi were
strict vegetarians, very small, didn't understand English, afraid of the
dark, lacked full intelligence, and their language wasn't very bright. The
Eloi accomplished the dream of nature, in a way, and diminished all signs
of war, disease, but lacked the ambitious of the future.
"Who are you to question 800,000 years of evolution?"
... But, wait. Evolutionarily speaking, that's not much time at all. That's
almost nothing. Dude, if that's all the evolution you guys have had, I can
question that shit all I want.
Also, why are the Morlocks making angry cow noises?
I love this movie so much. My only complaint is the fact blame was put on
the time traveler for the state of things in the future... and things would
have turned out exactly the same (the moon breaking apart) had he not
traveled through time at all.
The Time Machine: Professor Alexander Hartdegen - track no. 1 - Klaus Badelt
The Time Machine is a 2002 science fiction film adapted from the 1895 novel of the same name by H. G. Wells, and the 1960 film screenplay by David Duncan.
I havent seen this in years and i watched it over. now 10 years later I see
this movie so differently than wen i was 11. God this movie is a
masterpiece imo! And the music! worth looking up on youtube for sure. even
a buy! Love it!
+Mangaman1001 I agree. I still remember seeing if once when I was a kid, then a few years back when it came on TV, I watched it with my dad. :DI still miss him. He was a fan of the movie.
I know right, I don't understand why people hate on Guy Pearce, I think he played his role perfectly.
Misconceptions Opens in US Theatres August 6th, 2009!
Unable to conceive a baby of her own, a Southern Evangelical woman, A.J. Cook (Final Destination 2; TV's Criminal Minds), receives a "divine order" from God ...
I know this movie is doing the rounds in festivals, but I really want to
know when it will have a wider release or go on DVD just so I can see it.
Looks very good.
It's an extended version of "When I Come Home" off the "Soul Time" album
(one I highly recommend btw).
The Time Machine II - Atonement (2010) Conceptual Teaser Trailer
This is a conceptual Teaser Trailer (long version) for "The Time Machine II Atonement", a proposed sequel to the 2002 movie "The Time Machine" starring Guy ...
Well, there's many reasons for that. The first is that they probably did in
the past, with all the myths of ancient astronauts revolving around time
travellers. Second reason, the era in which time travel was truly invented
was probably yonks beyond this era, and so the denizens of that period
probably forgot all about this timeframe, thinking it a mundane Dark Age
lost to the ages. Thirdly, it could be that we've never actually seen it,
and that time portals are opened where others don't see.
@ARTNF I've pondered this since I was a kid. Alexander failed to save Emma
because he didn't drag her into his time machine when he had the chance and
travel into the near-ish future. His past self would still have the
motivation to build a machine, and he could simply get out a day or two
after he originally left. The way he rigged his machine at the end sent a
very powerful shockwave of quantum energy in every direction. It stands to
reason that could account for the theme of this sequel.
Well, as HG Wells had written this story back in... 1899 if I remember that
correctly and if it's true that this is the first book (later films) about
traveling through time he most likely haven't thought about that problem
yet, as paradoxes where likely 'invented' later on. I have therefore no
theory for you at all, aside from that I think the second timeline must
have overwritten the other one from existing. And yes, that raises even
more questions for you (and me too), I'm sure. :P
The Time Machine is one of the most powerful stories ever. People who have
ordinary lives do dream of extraordinary things. This is probably one of
the most edgy things to film... time travel. The composition of Science
Fiction in the niece (or Nephew) of the Horror genre; Mary Shelly should be
recognized for lighting the fuse on all these works to come. Unfortunately,
movies have a lot of trouble with this... Nobody really understands how the
studio process gets its product out. good luck.
Although my beliefs of time are quite different. According to Einstein's
theories, time travel IS possible, and if it is, it's probably happened,
making time travel part of history, and the changes made are actually
predestined. But your actions in another time period don't alter history,
you arrive there because you are compelled. You have always arrived there.
History is immutable, save for certain points in flux, and only there can
changes happen. Only there... can occur... a paradox.
@bahamabrz Not true. If scientists discovered time travel, they would add
time travel rules in order to avoid the grandfather parodox, where I go
back in time and kill my grampa. But if I'm now non-existent who killed my
grampa and if he didn't die why do I exist, etc. (forever) this would
ultimately break the laws of physics and spacetime would seise to exist
causing dimentions of space and duration to merge together ruining all our
efforts. That's just too much of a risk.
@ARTNF That was not the point at all. The main point at the beginning was,
if you do it you would play out every conceivable outcome, not every one
ending in her death. There's always a different way. Science says it, too.
Your earlier evaluation has merit, "I've pondered this since I was a kid.
Alexander ... didn't drag her into his time machine when he had the chance
and travel into the near-ish future ... could simply get out a day or two
after he originally left."
Thanks to all who have watched our video and to those of you who get
it..... this video is based on a screenplay my wife and I wrote that is a
sequel to the 2001 Time Machine. It picks up right were the original left
off and takes us to the very end of time. My son (who was 14 at the time)
worked on this video for us. We thought it was great and posted it. Again -
thanks to those who have commented and would love to see this one the big
screen! Jim
the whole point of the first movie was that you cant change what will
happen so how come his student can change the whole world yet alexander
couldn't save his wife don't ruin a good movie cause you want more of it
the whole point is you cant change what will happen so if any thing show
him traveling back in time or to the future just don't make it so that some
one else can change time when he couldn't.
if there is going to be a sequal, then it has to be the sequal to the old
version of 1960.
i want to see Weena again and the story behind the morlocks.
the piramids where very awesome along with that sound wich turns everybody
into zombie slaves, walking to their tomb of death .
also the talking rings where very cool and should be getting a 2015 update.
the 2002 version was ok. but the 1960's legendary!
Because if in fact a time machine was created the required resources and
data would require a team of scientist, the idea that one man could create
a machine is unlikely. As I was saying that team of scientist would be
subject to the natural laws of the universe and bound by this code of
ethics... going back in time and altering the past is unlawful.
I do not think the second can be as good as the first one (simply because
sequels rarely match the 1st one) but I like the concept, yes... I love
that sequel to put flashes about Emma as well because we never really got
to know her in the 1st one... And the tragedy is that if she had live,
Alexander and her would have had kids...
Time travel is it's own journey. To ride a lightning bolt from age to
age... life and death cycling til the end of eternity? nothing out of
reach? Alex is quite a man... and he wasn't someone who just stands by and
let's things happen. I really want to know what happens next?
If you're doing a sequel, you may as well add that the "time sphere" is
called a Faraday Cage. In the real world, it would be reddish-orange, but
blueish-white looks great anyway. I really love occult physics. Where can I
see those omitted scenes in full?
@Sherif256 In case you didn't read the title, it's a CONCEPTUAL trailer.
That means there IS a script, but they don't have the money to make a real
tralier. I've seen the script myself, and it's GREAT. THINK before you make
immature comments like that.
yes like star trek first contact and there is no way seemingly to
understand the chicken and the egg thing yes its either possible and has
already and will happen or its not possible either way if only for non time
travels our history is our history.
Right there it says he has to stop a former student collegefootballrulez
and 1stCalamity....so that is the reason. for example: the time around the
Kennedy's assassintion is fully documented. wouldnt you want to visit
something like that? Exactly.
@goofydonaldsora It might've been trite, but I think it was cool not dumb.
Slamjobcrash took the time to make this video and if he didn't think it
would be good, he wouldnt've posted it. Lets praise him solely for his
efforts!
I find this concept of a sequel most intruiging... I watched the original
on YT, and it was pretty decent. Hopefully your plot concept will get
snapped up by Dreamworks, and it'd make quite an epic movie.
@Slamjobcrash What if i could build a time machine, to save a life of a
person i lost 1 week ago [really] would i be unable to save her because i
would be the unescapeable result of my own tragedy?????
@Frost3784 - Exactly! Which is why we think you would love our story.... we
answer all your questions as well as provide a theory behind what part fate
and love play in one man's destiny.
We went earlier in the evening of Emma's death. What I don't get, is she
died in a different way, so what happened to the original loop of time that
he traveled back from?
Maybe they haven't visited this time.....maybe they think its boring....if
time travel was invented in 10,000 years why the hell would they want to
come back to 2009?
@TannerJay250 The space/time chaos caused by multiple time lines is obvious
-- presuming this could ever occur. "Rules", however, won't save us from
it.
What always was wondering is how Alexander was able to going back in time
without seeing his past self? What timetravel theories was this film
following?
I hope they do a sequel because they could improve the problems from the
disappointing first film and I want to see Alex prevent the 2037 Moon
collision
You guys should keep in mind that this is a promotional "trailer" from the
screenwriters themselves, trying to get word out about their screenplay.

no one is saying that, especially not to the point where it holds any
weight. Nowadays there are so many blogs and websites quick to compare past
nba legends to present no one takes that stuff seriously. Ricky Rubio is
the next Pistol, chris paul and blake griffin are the new gary payton and
shawn kemp, and the million comparisons to mj. Gervin and Durant are the
same build and can shoot, besides that there is no comparison to their
games and both are respected for it

will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't send this to at
least 10 people by the stroke of midnight tonight you will be forever
cursed in love. Just copy and paste this.. Good Luck
Ice is Nice! A true one of his kind! George was right, you do not hear
people comment "oh he is like Iceman" One of the greatest and I am glad I
saw him play along with other NBA
greats-Chamberlin,Jabbar,Jordan,Bird,Robinson,Erving-gosh the 70's and 80's
were the Best in the NBA
Hmmm. T-Mac has won how many playoff series? How many scoring
championships? 0/0 v. Ice at ~8 and 3. And T-Mac is better defender ... um,
no, b/c Ice is top 5 of all time in blocked shots by guard. Oh, T-Mac must
have been top 50 of all time? Ah, no, Ice again. Ice, Ice, baby!
george gervin the iceman is a nba legend all of famer a all time great
named 2 the 50 greatest players in nba history he was a unstoppable
offensive force, dont even bring up tracy brokeback mcgradys name he sucks
ass he still cant get past the 1st round
I guess his scoring titles were w/ Orl? I see he averaged 32 ppg once. And
even w/ two, still one fewer than Ice. I disagree that T-Mac is better.
Prime of his career now, age 28, w/ a pretty good center in Yao, and T-Mac
can't get squat done.
Tmac actually has 2 STRAIGHT scoring titles and has more Carrer Blocks and
Steal so wtf are u talking bout get ur facts straight!!. Tmac is and well
always be a better ALL ROUND PLAYER THEN ICEMAN ...and im not even a Tmac
fan.
wat a stupid ass shit 2 say wen the fuck did any1 on dis vid say they play
better than t-mac hes in the NBA im still playin ball 4 my highschoool team
imma be a pro baller 1day, we sayin tmac aint got shit on the iceman
Chris Douglas-Roberts reminds me a lot of the Iceman. He has a lot of those
shots. He can finger roll with both hands and is about the same build as
Gervin. Look for him to take off this season for the Nets
Yeah, and the worst thing is they cut the footage on this one. If they let
it run another few seconds, the camera pans back to Gervin after the shots
goes in and he's just staring blankly...like a cyborg.
Awesome!! The Iceman was the stuff!!! My all-time favorite player. I still
have the poster of the Iceman sitting on those ice cubes. Aint nobody bad,
like the Iceman. Heck, even his nickname is sweet.
tmac?....tmac never won the scoring title 3 straight times...tmac never was
mvp of the allstar game...tmac never scored 33 pts in 1 qtr..still an nba
record....tmac hasnt even won a playoff series...
fissionblade serious cuz u dont wanna say no shit 2 me man ma boy steph his
cousin knows the best hackers in the whole new york dey grimey man so check
ur self they get the ** they find u & its over
It takes true humility , to not take credit for The finger roll. Gervin is
a player that has achieved so much by way of his own individuality, that he
can give credit to those who he learned from.
LISTEN to his voice...he sounds exactly like Allen Iverson. especially at
the beginning where he's talking about practice hah...its not what he's
talking about though, just the tone of his voice.
Players like Gervin defined the game in the 70s and 80s. I had the
opportunity to see him play at the Hemisfair Arena growing up. An if you
didnt see him play you missed a Legend.
If you saw Gervin play, youll remember how he could Stop Time with his
SHOTS, he would shot and you could just see how creative he would be and
you would be amazed,he was great.
can any of you two fuckin play better than t-mac? I'd like to see you get
IN to the NBA even if you tried they'd probably call you a dick-sucking
loser and laugh in your face!
fissionblade man im tha nigga from brooklyn u dont wanna fuck wit damn if u
said that 2 my face i would beat ur fuckin arse 2 the curb & crack ur jaw
in2 pieces bitch
Julius Erviing ,Took Gervin under his wing. Just like Pistol Pete Maravich
Did with Erving.
