wave have a question you how you use the module with your spektrum first connect the battery to the module or cable to first trainer module as the trainer cord to connect the transmitter is turned thanks

I first connect the trainer cable and then I power the ORX module from the battery but as soon as you plug the trainer cable your Spektrum should boot, that's the way it should work.

Difference between ec tds ppm Important

This is why I use EC rather than PPM. Basically, all TDS and PPM meters measure the EC, then they use equations to convert to TDS/PPM. Problem is there are ...

Man respect and all.. But you babble on and say things that will be in the instructions.. I got nothing from this but your anal maintenance schedule.. Slow down and speak. and stay on subject.. You show a 190 as ppm is that times 10 ? you jut confused me more than help me. Sorry.. I been growing for 40 years never used a EC meter now I see why.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+david quintana It first depends on what your meter is reading for EC. It could be displaying EC as ms/cm or µs/cm. To convert EC to the TDS 500 scale (also called the NaCl scale) use ms/cm X 500 or µs/cm X .5. For the TDS 700 scale (also known as the 442 scale) use ms/cm X 700 or µs/cm X .7. Pretty Simple
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1AxN11RpNRs/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABA/K9e6W0jMkWc/photo.jpg?sz=64
It's because there are two types of TDS/PPM meters out there. Both measure the EC and then multiply it by 500 or 700. 500 is the most popular ones sold.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZtPLis-mX7g/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABY/F1VpA1t7oZ8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Grow Pot Cheaply I have been told divide ppm by 7 others say 5. but after watching your video just more . confusing . I mean I got what you were saying I am just to stupid to get it. Lol just need to look it up. peace
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1AxN11RpNRs/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABA/K9e6W0jMkWc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+david quintana All TDS-PPM meters do is take the EC and multiply it by either 500 or 700, depending on the meter. The most popular multiplies by 500. So a TDS meter that multiplies by 500, if the EC is 1.6, it will read 800ppm. EC is universal. PPM meters are not.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-xZt9sEMr_I8/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABQ/InSM9XNF8nE/photo.jpg?sz=64
Interesting dude I only have a Tds meter and way confused reading stuff on forums or off nutrient bottles that say ec Time to upgrade I think as both my ph meter and Tds are playing up
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
You can convert to EC if you know what your Meter is Calibrated to. I would say most ppm are running ECx500
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-udNVbyGUd5M/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABA/fSb86xOJ5ZY/photo.jpg?sz=64
In my experience it does not matter which reading you use as long as you know which you are using. As you said many meters out there have different types of readings, but the friendly people at your local grow store should be able to help anyone who is confused at point of sale. And if they can not, your in the wrong store! Just to clarify I have used EC/PPMx500/PPMx700 and all it takes is some general intelligence to work it out. I mean, we are not exactly sending people to Mars here. I actually prefer PPM but my Bluelabs EC Pen (which actually measures temps and all three varieties of TDS) is broken and I need to return it for warranty. Sadly electronics are not made as well as they used to be due to competition and trying to cut costs in manufacture. So I'm wondering where you got your qualifications to be able to tell people what to do? As i stated in an earlier video of yours, perhaps trial and error before spruking anything would help. Make your own mind up before you try and influence the minds of others. Growers Love BU P.S. Do not take this an an affront, I'm simply stating my opinion as you do yours. I just dislike when people are given half truths and misinformation in general.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-1AxN11RpNRs/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAABA/K9e6W0jMkWc/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Badass Unicorn No half truths here. The reason I recommend EC is because it is universal. If a grower states that they water with 900ppm, they rarely ever state if they are using 500 or 700, thus it can confuse the person trying to follow. This is why I use EC now so my new growers know exactly what I am watering with. I've been growing for dispensaries or years. This doesn't make my way the right way. I explain why I do it the way I do it, though.
