This is nothing like smash. It's street fighter the way it always should've between. Taking away the execution barrier doesn't make the game casual or easy. It just makes it easier to get into. Execution is just a barrier that makes fighting games hard to get into and it's the reason why fighting games are so niche and also why they aren't e-sport. I can understand that people who work hard on that execution don't like the idea of all that not mattering anymore but if more fighting games followed the idea of rising thunder, the fgc would change for the better. Complex motions and such only turn people off and you know what's funnier? Execution isn't the core game but it's a roadblock. People spend months after buying a game before they can actually play it. If any other genre did this it'd be rightfully complained about but in the fgc people just say shit like git gud. Obviously, all the classic fighting games up to now with few exceptions have been like this but, I think a change like what Seth is trying to do can only be beneficial. It straight up pisses me off to see everyone being closed minded and writing this game off as "not a fighting game" just because it dares to be different and not even that different mind you. Just because it dares to try to bring a good change to fighting games.This game has the potential to bring fighting games into the mainstream or to at least create a trend of more accessible fighters that don't sacrifice depth for accessibility.

+TheJezryk Well hopefully they give every character decent normals and balance it so that if the player has the proper reaction they can deal with air game outside of needing a shoryu. I think most of if not all the shotos in SF have a decent AA normal on top of shoryu

+Adam Olympia This is because developers see $$ signs when on iOS because they know iOS users will buy it. Alot of Android users just pirate the apps. So once they make their desired money on iOS, they port it to Android

Bioshock, Faster Than Light, Bastion, Star Wars Knights of the old republic,  Real Racing 1 and 2, (I know 3 is now on android-- been on iOS for  a long time) , Oddworld Strangers Wrath , Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Oceanhorn,  X-Plane 10 , Lego Batman DC superheroes, Godus, Vain Glory, Space Marshals ,  Radiation Island, Battleheart Legacy, Ascendancy - That's just a tiny fraction of the iOS only via mobile (Though some are obviously console ports from Ps3/XBox360/Xbox/DS/etc) ...  They are some of the notable AAA/High production value ones. I could list over a thousand that are GOOD but I think you get the point. Android is just now getting quite a few of the following that were on iOS for a year or more before they got ported over, including all the GTA, Xcom, Hearthstone, World of Tanks, etc ...    Usually if there are titles on android that aren't on iOS - its copycat knockoffs of hits from iOS (Tiny wings has a half dozen knockoffs for example) .. It's a very rare case that something original and good is on android but not iOS.

Live gaming controllers? Ever since iOS 7 we've had MFI controllers. I have one myself and it's like a smaller version of an Xbox controller. There are many different models and sizes.    PLUS a shit-ton more games to use them with than on android.

Tyler and I think it's a reproducible glitch, wherein the game accidentally treats Mario's height variable as an integer instead of a float and tries to decrement it. In this case, it's legitimate bug that can be reproduced.

He made it very clear in the original video that it may be unreproducible. Blame yourself.
