I have this netbook. I got it at Best Buy and paid around around $350. I've had it over 6 weeks or so. I recently purchased an external DVD to load Windows 7. Overall, I am very satisfied with the machine. It is lightweight with decent battery. I travel very often and it is a dream working with on the planes. I'm eagerly awaiting for Delta to initiate it's system wide wi-fi which will really make netbooks the way to go

the video is laggy because flash is rendered through the cpu and barely and gpu, so that crappy atom is only a single core and thats why netbooks ant the greatest for flash videos, but my netbook has a celeron duel core and can play standard without buffering, and hd usually without buffering, but nice vid

this little netbook was my first pc. fyi its got 160 gb hdd, 1.60 GHz cpu, 126 mb GPU, and this things just now starting to go out after being several years old and used extensively. i turned mine into a lighter gaming pc. i have a way better laptop now but this things never failed on me.

lol i have a 16 inch asus laptop, 500 gigs of space 4 gigs of ram and 2.20 ghz dual core. noww.. that computer probably has 50 gigs of space 0.50 gigs of space and a 1.00 ghz core drive. that thing cant even handle a video. mine is only 2 hundred more and it can handle hardcore fps games.

nice try man. I'm running a 15 inch Lenovo laptop, 1 terabyte of hdd, 16 gig ssd, 8 gigs of ram, intel i7 quad core 2.4 ghz turbo boost up to 3.4, and nvidia graphics with 2gb ddr5 memory. Your laptop blows :)

@rike1175 actually pretty much none of them do. thats WHY THEYRE CALLED NETBOOKS! not just normal laptops. theyre different. the difference is they dont have a dvd cd drive. bam shazam!

have this and just installed win 7 ultimate on it works good with some tweaks. w/1GB ram If the wifi light is annoying install win 7 it it doesnt blink when accessing the net...

The battery on this will swap with the Acer D250's series. I have the Acer D250-1156 and this gateway and they are the same since Acer owns gateway.

@Disneyclassics009 but you can buy a USB thing that you can use to put in disks. I forget what it's called but look it up on walmart in accessories

I get an average of 5hrs 36min with 2/10 brightness, wifi on - you can of course get more by turning it down to 1/10 and no wifi
