Microsoft Access Advanced Tutorial: RecordSets in VBA
This is an advanced Microsoft Access tutorial that will show you how to use RecordSets in Visual Basic (VBA) to access data stored in a table in your code.
Interesting I have an urgent question: I want to use this code to compare
the data fields of a given table as input to check there existence. with
other words: the user should be able to enter data in inputbox. this data
should be compared with MyField in MyTable. If the entry already exists in
this field, should come a message: available. if not, then the message not
available. can someone help me? I would be very grateful.
One thing I don't understand: Why even with 2010 version.. there is NO
unicode support in VBA MS Access?!!! As a database program that handles
with characters all day every day, I just don't get it. Unicode support
should be there from "day one" on the same level as .NET has it. In order
to handle file operations or string functions I have to call external code
written in .NET Visual Basic...
thanks very much for your answer. I´ve show your video. It´s interesting
but how can I use this funtion to solve my problem? I just want to write a
VBA code using this function. the user should Enter a value in a Inputbox,
this value musst be cheked if it exists in MyField of my Table. If yes, the
messagebox: exists. If not, messageBox: not exists. please help me.
Hi there, I have a video database. The video table has copies available as
one of the field. Now the problem is, when a video is borrowed, how can we
show the remaining copies in video table? What code should we write? I need
help.
This is an ADVANCED Access tutorial, which is what it says in the title.

@Damecos - The database was created in Access 2007 and opened with Access
2010. This is not unusual, that is, to have a different version of Access
to open and modify a database created in a different version of Access.

REALLY GREAT VIDEOS. I have never done data bases, our company has books
24/7, all the books assume that you have used access 2007 or an earlier
access.
Great tutorials; excellent balance between friendly explaining and speed.
Love the cuts, which many youtube tutors leave out. Thank you for
uploading. :D
