How SWEET is that. Since 2009 I have been Kickin (with a D) around with Contextures "Data Validation Hide Used List", back and forth with the helpful MS Office community's each NFL season. The task, to create a worksheet that tallies points in a "Modified" Survivor pool (any NFL team can be chosen as long as you haven't used it). Overwhelmingly intrigued by the Powers of Excel I'm no programming geek. This short sweet little trick (#830) eliminates so much confusion and congestion and conditional formatting and blah, blah, blah. Not my favorite cliche but in this case LESS is MORE. I lost the D-Val drop-down that had 32 team abbreviation but some how I'm betting that can be figured out. QUADRUPLE KUDOS for #830.

hey. I've just recently started getting into excel for simple business applications. your tutorial are greatly appreciated.But I've found myself stuck on a data validation problem. I am trying to use one worksheet to input data into a table on another sheet. I've set up a macro button on the first sheet to allow this to happen, but I cant seem to not allow duplicates to be entered into a specific column on the second worksheet. can u point me in the right direction? thanks.
