comment below for avideo on makeup tutorial, anxiety etc :) LOVE YOURSELF! its going to pass, but until then: my email- [email protected] my tumblr ...
Your Beuatiful, your personality ia beautiful and you are as strong as it
gets. Really respect how courageous you are. Acne really is detrimental
i've had it for 5 years. After 2 cycles of accutane i felt pretty damn good
until about a year ago when it came back viscously. To this day its stay
enraged and really taking me over, as hard as i try to stay positive i
always get days where i feel like just breaking down. My scars are what
take the biggest toll on me, the hardest thing for me is going in public or
just being with all these people who seem to have perfect skin. Excercise
became my solution over the years until i started breaking out on my back.
Now my scars are as severe as it gets, havent been to the beach since i was
little, cant wear tanktops, and overall just feel like a wreck. But life
goes on...... Anyway solid video best of luck :)
+Aesthetic Adam wow what a story! i hope things start looking up for you soon!! this are getting better for me and i pray they will never go back! you can do this! be proud of you skin and scars they are a part of you and after all scars prove that you make it through, you can do this xx
this video was too bold charlotte!!being a guy i have been going through on
and off serious stages of acne for the past 8 years almost! im 21 now !!
basically its just my confidence that keeps me going and my medications !!
although it wont be a surprise if i come crashing down someday with the
side effects of my allopathetic meds, isotretenoin, antibiotics, creams
,sunscreens,facewash and so on!
I struggle too and I wasn't at school because I hate how my skin looks and
sometimes I just can't look in the mirror without feeling disgusted by
myself :x and I have depression too it sucks but I keep trying .. girl I
love you .you can do this.
+Niels Palmans WOW this is one of the best comments i have ever received, im so glad this video helped you and i with you the best of luck! x if you have any other ideas of videos you would like me to do just let me know:) don't let anyone (including yourself) bring you down you will get through this!
Currently I am breaking out. I feel insecure and all I want to do is cry.
Just today a boy at school commented on my acne saying you have a lot of
acne and when he didn't like what I said he said Shutup acne. I just told
him it wasn't funny and that he doesn't know how the person feels. It's sad
to say I feel like my acne defines me. I cry everyday wishing for clear
skin. Sometimes I just can't take it anymore...
I think you're so pretty! Your eyes are so nice! I wish no one would ever
have to go through acne... but I honestly think I wouldn't be the same
person if I had not gone through it. Thanks for the vid!
Girl, my skin was exactly like that in high school and through out college.
I am 25 and I still break out, but I have literally tried everything from
Accutane to a complete vegan and fat free diet. Let me tell you, SOO many
people have acne and cover it with makeup. You are inspirational and
beautiful and let no one tell you different!
i had acne from 11 to 23 ....the five last years were awful... actually my
face looked worst than yours, severe cystic acne, on my face, on my chest,
on my back ....People even asked me how i burned my face, seriously...going
to school wasnt easy at all... i tried everything... only isotretinoine
worked....i got a few scars im not going to lie.. Im on my late twenties
now that's behind me , i have a few advices for people going trough
that...1.- Always ask for a second opinion, if the treatment isn't working
.. i had the same doctor for ages...never once told me i could try
isotretinoine,.... until i met by chance another doctor that told me that i
should try it...i'd probably still be using antibiotics or hormonal therapy
until this day if he hadnt told me 2.- don't worry to much about scars, or
stuff there's always something you could do about them. 3.- and most
important..DO NOT LET THIS DEFINE YOU! you are no your acne! .. i didnt do
so many things that now i regret because i was sooo self conscious, i
limited myself so much... always thinking, im too ugly, my face is this or
that, what people are going to think? Please don't do that to yourself...if
people judge you because of the acne ...well..screw them!.... that kind of
people is not worthy to be in your life... Finally this will get
better...so yeah... sorry for my english, clearly is not my first language
:p... kisses and stay strong!
I thank you for sharing your experience. My children also had acne, so my
whole family can relate. It seems like there is a Great Divide between
being on your own at the Walmart Health & Beauty rack, looking for that
magical product that will, once and for ALL, get rid of your acne, and then
the only other option seems to be going to a dermatologist. With nothing
in between. I will tell you, that is why I became an Acne Specialist
Esthetician. That's all I do. It is where my heart is, and reading so
many of your stories in these comments makes me want to see how many young,
beautiful people I can help get clear. We exist all over America, in
nearly every state. Mind you, not every esthetician has the training I
have, nor do they dedicate their entire skin care practices to their acne
clients, but there are specially trained estheticians out there who know
how to guide you to clear. All my best to you all.
I'm in love with your channel. It's amazing to practically see you go
through your struggle and journey with acne. Right now I'm hoping one day
in the near future I can get a hold of a dermatologist for my acne. Ever
since I got pregnant (at 16, the height of hormones), my acne went from
very normal to very bad. I have good days, but even those are hell. I
normally have either a lot all at once, everywhere or two very large under
the skin ones (at least 1-inch in diameter) anywhere on my face.

"I wish that a doctor would have opened my eyes to the alternative ways to
treat acne." I felt the exact same way. There are thousands of people that
feel the same. It's sad that nutrition isn't even a factor in the medical
community. Thank goodness for the internet and people that actually teach
about alternative ways to cure things. From my experience, going all
natural and changing my diet was the only way to finally get clear, and it
helped with other problems too! Thanks
The feeling of SHAME and GUILT has been the worst for me to cope with. Acne
has through years become a part of my identity, like a bad/ugly part of my
person. Although I'm quite pretty, I've felt UGLY both on the OUTSIDE and
INSIDE. I felt ashamed and guilty of having acne. You're doing a FANTASTIC
job by being so open and honest about your acne. You've helped me to
"extract" my acne out of my person. I am not my acne any more. THANK YOU

My Acne Story | Emotional Cystic Acne Talk - Heart to Heart | Sally Euphoria
My Emotional Cystic Acne Story | Heart to Heart with Sally Euphoria Good day to you! This is a 100% true story of my personal battle with Cystic Acne for almost ...
Your skin right now look sooo beutiful and healthy. I don't think you need
make up anymore. I watch from start of the video to finish, and I
subscribed :)
i started getting acne when i was 13 just on my forehead throughout the
whole 8th grade. so when summer started, since there's no school, i just
stayed home.. i didn't put anything on my face and i didn't care about it
and thought that acne is just a part of being a teenager then one day, it
all just cleared up. it did go away by itself. and now i'm 15, it's
returning again.. on my left and right cheeks, chin, and forehead. it's
getting worse.. i've been depressed about it and i don't know what to do.
i'd tried cleansers, soap and stuff like that but it didn't do anything.
this is so embarassing.. i think nothing works for me. i wish i could use
accutane but i'm too young
+spreadloveeeNeem leaf oil, applied topically and organic neem leaf powder taken orally absolutely crushes acne in no time at all. Neem leaf is perfectly safe, and natural , but is also a natural form of birth control, so its not suitable for women trying to get pregnant or who are pregnant. In India they use it for chewing gum, toothpaste, birth control, a cancer drug, antibacterial agent (acne), and antiviral agent. called the miracle; tree. I take 1 tsp daily in smoothie. Have your Mom research this for you, or consult with a ND. Dermatologist in the USA wont tell you about NEEM leaf as it costs virtually nothing and they wont prescribe it as no one makes any money. In India they give it to teenage kids with acne all the time. There is also the orthomolecular treatment for acne. Many Acne suffers have genetically higher needs for certain vitamins and minerals in high doses and to clean up their diet. The best diet for life and acne is called an orthomolecular diet. It is no meat, no milk (very bad for acne), no sugar, and no breads, or processed foods. Typically 1 gram of Niacin in flush free form is given 3x, a day, 1 gram of Vitamin C, 3 x a day and 220 mg of zinc sulfate a day and a whole foods multivitamin and mineral . An ND or Orthomolecular MD would advise you a dermatologist will never tell you as vitamins are not patented. Your mom can go to Orthomoleculardotorg to start researching this for you. Or she can start with Dr. Abram Hoffers books. This treatment typically takes 1 month until you start to clear and 3 months to see very significant improvement. If your Dad or Mom helps you, you can be acne free for life. A good ND or Orthomolecular MD knows much more about diseases like acne than dermatologist and they wont use harsh drugs. I tried Dermatologist for years, they gave me drugs that made the condition worse and with severe side effects. I read this book by this guy Eustace Mullins called, Murder by Injection; and found out why MDs never cure you. He gives talks on youtube by the same title for free.
Hey, I can understand your frustration :'( I can tell from what you wrote :( I'm so sorry hugs. See a dermatologist! Accutane is usually the last resort. I had ro-accutane for 7 months, that's when EVERYTHING cleared up, of course with the help of skin regime from the dermatologist too and good lifestyle. Acne at your age and where I was is inevitable. Go see someone for it. Basic information: If your skin is oily, don't use products that "for oily skin" etc especially when you have acne. Use hydrating stuff and moisturizer because I'm 90% sure your skin is dry from the inside and when it's dry, it produces oil to compensate and the oil collects dirt and germs in the air and our perspiration and more acne comes out. Use gentle and light cleanser. Use hydrator/vitamin serum. Do not use moisturizer. Moisturizer is used to "seal" hydration in our skin but acne affected skin usually does not have moisture in our skin so by using a moisturizer it will be sealing nothing but instead making it more dry. And remember to use sunscreen NO MATTER WHAT. Drink tons of water and sleep facing up, keep your hair out of your face or tie in a loose pony tail (i do that). pillow casing, our phones etc. Don't give up. Skin care is a lot to figure out. Everyone's different. But gotta start digging from somewhere so we can eliminate factors of what doesn't work for you. Don't give up my dear. Eventually it will go away, it's just how we get there and I am sure you will get there really soon. OH and eat healthy, no late night, and wash your hands before you wash your face (people always forget that) and OH do not pick on them or touch your face unless you are washing your face (that's my number 1 rule). Thank you for sharing your story and I'm really sorry that you're going through this. You will be just fine and you are beautiful believe me. <3
I had bad acne throughout freshman year. It really lowered my confidence.
So I had acne throughout that whole school year. I really couldn't take it
anymore, having acne was just too much to deal with for me. I made an
appointment with my dermatologist and he prescribed me two topical creams
and a pill. My acne, most of it, cleared within a month. I was so happy. I
had like a couple here and there but it was so much better. Now I don't
have acne, but I'm just left with scars. It's better than that bumpy acne!
I looked back at old pictures and videos of when I still had acne and I
cried and I was shocked. That was me? And seeing how far I've come within a
month after having acne for a year, just made me happy. My confidence is
boosted. and when people ask me about acne, I open up. Since I want to help
them
You have no idea how proud I am of you right now after reading what you've shared. I am so grateful that you're sharing this with me and everyone here. I know exactly how you feel, every sentence, I really understand. You're not alone in this, we are lucky to have it cleared eventually. You're beautiful, you deserve every bit of confidence and happiness, I want you to know that. Thank you for sharing again, it's really very inspiring :') xo
DEALING/CONFIDENCE WITH ACNE
Coping with the Emotional Effects of Acne My Acne Story: Dealing with Acne How To: Deal with Acne, Anxiety, and Depression. Join...
you are one brave woman and I adore you! thank you so much for making this
video, it really helped me. I suffer from acne right now and I feel rubbish
because of my skin. I'm meant to meet people without make up this weekend
and it makes me feel reallyreally bad and insecure about myself. but it's
just something I have to cope with and that is it.
But this vid really helped me, thanks
+Pinja pyörret Thank you so much for commenting! You are so sweet. :) & I do my best to live with my acne but I still struggle and it's hard for me to go to school with no makeup on even now. But we all have our insecurities and it doesn't make us any less beautiful! I'm so glad this video helped sunshine!
I love you and your videos, and acne is an insecurity of mine because...
I'm really thin, I barely have any boobs or butt so for a lot if people
that just leaves my face.(not saying I hate my body) but a lot of people
only comment on my face because I have nothing else to look at. And when I
have a pimple or acne scarring it does make me feel insecure. You are
beautiful inside and out
Thank you so much beautiful, you and your support means the world to me! & trust me I am with you on the whole "really thin, barely any boobs or butt" thing. But I guess that just makes us who we are right?
Thanks for this video! It really does suck that society cares more about
looks than what you have to say. Im almost 23 and still getting acne and
redness. I used to do full face foundation but recently ive accepted that
this is who I am. Im comfortable going out to the store without makeup on
but its a totally different feeling when i go to work. I have to interact
with people so having people listen to what i say is important. But i no
longer do full face makeup! I can use a few dots of concealer and thats it!
I even stopped wearing eye makeup. Once you start wearing less makeup, you
kinda feel more confident on what you really look like :)
No problem! I know exactly how you feel, when i'm at school I feel as though it is necessary to wear makeup and present myself in a specific manner in order to feel confident and do my best. But after a long time, you begin to just be okay in your own skin. I totally agree!
Wow that video surprised me. I always thought you were (well are) such a
confident person. But when I saw this, you're just like everyone else, you
have your flaws and problems at it reminds of myself.
I also suffer acne (at the age of 10), and am kind of embarrassed by it. I
can relate to everything you say, especially the part that people look at
me and don't listen. (My mom, omg she's always talking about how bad my
face looks etc. And I should change my eating behaviour etc, but she
doesn't consider that it hurts me) or everything I look into the mirror.
Well in my case, I do have self consciousness (proof: I'm not wearing
makeup and show my acne everyone haha), but it's not that big. Maybe if I
would wear makeup so it can hide a bit of the acne, I could gain
confidence. The problem is, that I can't find the right products and it's a
very tiring process to find them so I gave up.
I hope it goes away with puberty, but it doesn't seem like it (I'm 17 btw).
Thank you for sharing your story and advice , Gabby
+Gabby Chu well and I thank you for replying :) I'm really looking forward to those videos, so good luck by doing them.Wuah, can't believe that we're the same age and you're so wise
I just wanted to thank you for commenting. I absolutely love to hear that people watching actually take something from my videos, and the only way for me to know that is through to comments! And, reading what you had to say made me feel like this video was worth making. So thank you (again, haha)! We all have flaws and I think the most confident people are the ones that can admit that they are not perfect and have insecurities. It's perfectly okay to be both confident & insecure! You just can't let your insecurities keep you from living life the way you want to live it. Although this video was hard for me to make, I just wanted to show you guys that even the most confident people have their moments.I will say makeup can be a boost of confidence, however it starts with YOU. Don't expect makeup to magically make you less insecure, because it won't. It's there to cover, but you have to take the initiative and tell yourself it's okay that you have acne and accept that you can't cover it completely. I'm going to be creating more acne related videos showing you guys the products I use on my face, along with skincare and talking about other misconceptions with acne. So stay tuned and all your questions and concerns might just be answered in the next few months! Don't give up on yourself, i'm 17 too and although it's hard dealing with acne (& trying every way to cure it), I do my best to keep it as controlled as possible. Don't let it get the best of you! Just know that even with every comment you get, they are only judging one part of you. Acne doesn't define you. You are beautiful! I love you! & Thank you for watching my videos, it means the world!
MY STRUGGLE WITH ACNE
I wanted to sit down and talk about my biggest insecurity: my skin. I have struggled with acne for years - over half my life, really. It's not necessarily a fun topic to ...
How is your skin doing now? I am going through the same thing! Did you ever
go to a doctor, natural or conventional? I never got acne until AFTER I had
my daughter. During pregnancy, so beautiful and glowing. Now, it will get
well and seem so nice, then so terrible and texture just terrible. I
switched all my skin care to organic oils and use only very gentle,
natural, chemical free products. I also deal with clogged pores that come
and go as well, just on the sides of my mouth. Unfortunately my insurance
doesn't cover any kind of naturopath doctors and I am not interested in
conventional medicine. I am not sure what to do. I have made diet changes
including more veggies and fruit, no grains, and healthy fats, more water,
etc. No change yet. Thanks for doing this video. I don't feel so alone.
Thank you very much! That is so good to hear that you have healed from the worst. I watched all of your acne related videos yesterday for some refreshing help and I must say, your approach is one not commonly found here and it is the approach we need to have for true healing. I'll try to keep this short.... 1 year ago I literally threw out every product I owned from makeup to shampoo and skin care, in one weeks time. It was hard to do. I replaced it all with natural alternatives and I started making my mineral makeup when I found TKB trading company (they sell the micas, minerals, etc.) That really helped my skin out a lot! I narrowed my skincare products to raw honey, konjac sponge, rosehip and argan oil, and rose witch hazel and a few essential oils. It did well for me, for the skin around my breakouts, it was flawless! But I was still breaking out. I realized through a lot of research, finding your channel and people with the same approach, that the problem was inside, acne isn't a skin problem. So a couple months ago I started to address inside and looked at face mapping and listened to my body. Mine seems to be hormonal yes, but even that has a deeper root cause. Hormonal acne could mean 100 things. For me, it seems my digestive issues are causing a hormone imbalance. I did cut out gluten, diary (though we only consumed organic, local, raw), eggs, and started exercising more, cutting out toxins, eating a ton of plants, and changing my lifestyle. I seem to be missing something though. I still breakout in inflammatory acne and I am recovering from a bad breakout now when I recently introduced eggs back into my diet....no eggs for me! Dairy makes me achy and tired as I discovered introducing that back into my diet, and gluten I don't know yet. I haven't seen a doctor yet but I booked an appointment with Brianne Grebil last night and I am going to seek outside help. At the same time my acne got worse, I also developed scalp psoriasis! I have to schedule my hair appointments around it. I cannot figure this out alone and my next step is to also get allergy tested. There are many ailments I would have acne over, any day. It isn't the worst thing that could happen, but I think it's the best because it's an obvious cry for help I cannot ignore. Something is wrong and I need to fix it. Anyway, sorry for the ramble! It seems some people struggle with it even with a healthy lifestyle and some people can have terrible habits and flawless skin... But that is okay. We can't make comparisons. We just have to take care of the body we have the best we can! Thank you so much for making these videos and making yourself vulnerable to the world to tell your story and help others =) I am planning on doing the same someday when I heal! It is a process indeed, no quick fixes!
+primrose Petal My skin has changed dramatically! The texture is smooth, and I rarely get any major breakouts. Of course, I still get a couple spots come ovulation or the start of a new cycle, but those are more difficult to completely eliminate. I did something called skin therapy with Brianne Grebil, and she helped me figure out lifestyle changes that could help my skin. She's not a doctor but an aesthetician, nutritionist, and fitness coach based in California, so everything was done over a few phone conversations. She also has a great website and email list with good information. I made a video about my experience with her: https://youtu.be/Y7OMYFAI9-w. Her whole approach is to figure out what your skin is telling you and to adapt your approach accordingly. For me, the biggest differences I saw occurred by eliminating gluten, exercising, eating more fruits, and managing stress levels. I tried reintroducing gluten over the summer, and it was a complete fail. I started breaking out again and took it back out of my diet. Other people are sensitive to dairy or other foods though. I also completely revamped my skin care routine. I don't use conventional cleansers anymore - not even natural ones. I use only water and a konjac sponge in the morning and honey at night. Super gentle, but it's been really effective for me. I also use a gentle toner afterward that has antioxidants in it. Here is my skin care video: https://youtu.be/9aVg_kt8y1I. The only changes that have occurred since that video are that I'm currently out of the serum and haven't replaced it yet, and I also use rosehip oil at night, which is helping with the scarring. I also switched brands of jojoba oil to the one I featured in a current video, and the raw honey is a different brand as well. Hope this helps!
Have you tried Rodan +Fields Unblemish? It was a life saver and confidence
booster for me. I have struggled with acne since early elementary school
and could never calm it. I tried Unblemish at the prompting of a friend and
decided to give it a whirl since I could get my money back in 60 days when
it didnt work! Well i am still using it 7months later and have had maybe 3
blemishes in that time! Honestly amazing!
+Jill Riediger I have heard good things about that line! I'm currently doing some natural things that have helped a lot. I'll be making an updated video soon. I still get some hormonal breakouts, but I find that those are much more difficult to completely eliminate.
+ErinandBaby Thank you, Erin! It's amazing to me how many women have come forward with their skin issues since sharing this, yet it's something we really don't hear about.
You're gorgeous, mama. Inside and out.
Going through motherhood so often forces us to be real (either that or
suffocate under the grief of what it does to our bodies). Love this video
as a mama who is authentic and processing her journey of insecurities, even
though I would NEVER have seen your skin and judged you based on it.
I just love how kind and understanding you are. You are a natural born
nurturer. It's in you voice, your smile, your openness. I'm happy to be
your friend. You are beautiful!
I really understand when something in your body controls so much of your
life, for me it was my teeth... it started 10 years ago when I had my first
child and 3 more kids later my teeth were so bad and I did not want to talk
to people and I shut my self off and for me that is one of the first thing
you notice on a person is there teeth and I was to embarrassed to see a
dentist... I finally did when my front tooth chipped away, I now have a
beautiful smile with dentures and it is great, best decision I ever made...
it was a huge process but I do get when you have so much shame of what
others are going to think of you .
