I own 3 horses. My mare, i saved her from bad neglect and i freed my pony out of a riding school after 15 years, he worked there. It breaks my heart to see all this neglected horses! My mare still suffers from her old life and this was 6 years ago. I live in Germany and would do everything to get the chance to work with these horses! Keep going with what you're doing!!! Greetings from Germany!

Ya know I worked for a Petland for 4 years and this is a little ridiculous! We work in pet stores because we LOVE animals! I'm sorry if they came from a puppy mill, I didn't buy the dogs, but once they came to us we loved and cared for those animals as well as if they were our own. You don't see the work that we are putting in behind the scenes. Also dont these animals need homes too? Are their lives valued to be worth less because of where they came from? These animals are innocent.

petland is gross, the animals do not look happy, the birds were being kept in fish tanks at the one i saw!! without water of course. but how is a bird supposed to climb around nad fly in a glass tank??? people who have ZERO knowledge of parrots apparetnly....they need socialization, room to play,e tc. petland is disgusting and i am ashamed that i walked into that horrible place. poor pets. I hope they all close

@jwerner79 oh no no no. I have things to do like getting into lawschool to actually sue these giant corporations. Not standing outside of buildings waving signs... But honestly, as long as someone adopts the dog and treats it with love and care, isn't that enough? Or do alot of the dogs die at the mills?

I bought a puppy from Petland and he is super skittish, he is really overweigh even if we give him excirse or put him on a diet, and he has a lot of health problems. When I first got him i didnt know that he probably came from a puppymill. Im glad that it was shut down. Dont buy from Petland!
