Hello YouTube. In this video i will be talking about US Navy "A"school, Engineering side of things. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment ...
I'm an MM ( non nuke) and ship out 20160525 but I told my recruiter to put
in a DAR cause ion know if I'm bout that engineering life.. I'm scared
that's I won't do so well in A school & BECC but I'll see how it goes, I
don't think a different rating would pop up for me anytime soon.
+Daylife I just hope that I'll be able to do very well in A school it has nothing to do with the rating itself I wouldn't mind working hard I just want to be very good at what I do
I just got out of A school as a GSE. GSE's go Becc, GS strand, ATT, then
9C. GSM's just go through Becc then GS strand. EM's still do Becc, ATT,
then 9C. Everyone else is still Becc then strand.
Quick question. I leave 20160222 as an MM (non-nuke). What do my rate
mostly learn in A school and BECC? Also do my rate mostly go straight to
deployment after schooling?
Hey good video, quick question, I am leaving 20150401 as GSE. I can't
really find any videos about GSE do you have any idea what the rate might
be like? I know that it is a electrical engineering rate, but I am not 200%
sure about the schooling. I have no experience in this field at all.
+TheSpyke2012 GSE = EM Except that GSE tend to get orders to Small ships, work on gas turbine systems. Overall its pretty much the same exact job.

I must say, this was a quite interesting video. It's so fascinating how you
worked so many jobs in 32 years, and more fascinating that you recall
everything (the small details were great). Glad you dropped being a chemist
and chose something that really inspires you!
