Farewell to the fire chief - the procession
Roughly 128 vehicles comprised the procession from the Navarre United Methodist Church to Barancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fl.
Car catches fire in fire department's parking lot.
Car catches fire in a Clearwater Florida fire department's parking lot. A different fire department responds to put the fire out. Before the car is totally engulfed in ...
Im not sure how you find that to be an amateur question seeing how I wasn't
aware that Clearwater was giving black helmets to all line personnel.
Second, in addition to the black helmets, normal staffing for an engine is
3 members (correct me if I'm wrong) so seeing a fourth caused me to think
that he was a probie. Or 2 probies for that matter due to the helmets.
Clearwater has about 10 Probies right now but I don't know where they all
are stationed. I'm sure that is why 50 had four guys. Either that or they
had an extra guy on duty, that happens every now and then.
I wonder if we could possibly build cars, with any more combustible
materials within them? More and more quality metal parts, have been
replaced with plastic, which is basically, solidified oil.
First off, since when does E50 have 4FF's and are 2of them Probies? Because
I saw a red helmet for the Lt the driver operator obviously has a yellow
but the 2 that knocked down the fire had black.
And seeing how you said "our dept" you clearly work for CFR so if you can
answer this that would be great. What brand of PPE are you guys currently
using and also what type of helmets?
You are right. It was the same fire unit that did respond. I noticed that
after I saw the 50 on the other side of the truck. I just don't know where
the truck come from.
i was lucky enough to see these wimmin live in concert & help them get a gig & play 14 songs for UWF radio station in pensacola fl back when this song came ...
Fire at 4347 Burtonwood Court, Pensacola, FL
Ensley Volunteer Fire Department (A promotional video.)
Excellent tribute! "Bring 'em home SAFE!" Please take a moment to view the
video response as it relates to 'SAFETY in ACTION' ...learn to fight the
FIRE... and NOT the HOSE! BE FIRE SAFE! 3w's.hftfire dot com ...and LEARN
what you can TEACH your community to SAVE The LIFE of a dedicated FIRE
FIGHTER! TOTAL VICTIM ACCOUNTABILITY at ALL TIMES.. but especially when you
ARRIVE! 3w's.fireandlifesafety dot ORG All my best!
From a former Ensley member (1996-2000) I thank you guys for continuing
your services. I also feel the loss of Lewis Ward. He was still a Red Hat
when I joined and he did a lot for me showing me the ropes and helped me
along in my training. He was a great man and a good friend. There is not a
time that when I drive by I dont blow the horn and give a big thumbs up.
Station 6 is part of my life and I salute you guys.
I wasn't signed in when I watched this video, but I had to, it brought
tears to my eyes. I had no clue that Lewis passed away. Please let me know
how he died. (R.I.P. Brother). Lewis and I started at the same time back in
the 80's at that station. He was a cut up, but he had fun being a
firefighter. I could go on for along time, but I'll stop. Anyway, great job
guys, keep up the good work. Keep the videos rolling!
Thanks for sharing this video. I think since 9/11 Americans have alot more
respect and admiration for our firefighters. Watching those cars zipping in
front of the truck makes me Sooooo mad...when I see that at home I want to
tell those idiots to move it over and STOP...don't they realize they are
putting the firefighters at risk as well as the people and animals where
the fighters are headed to HELP....
I love the video great job I'm glad that I had the privilege to work at
Ensley and have Lewis Ward as my chief many great times. Lewis was
definitely the type of person that would run into a burning building armed
only with a garden hose he's missed dearly and never forgotten and for
everyone that wants to know where it is Ensley fire located in Pensacola Fl.
Have a nice day, guys. I´m a volunteer firefighter from West-Germany, near
Cologne. The video could be made from us, because there would be the same
pictures. It´s a good feeling to know, that all over the world people work
together t safe and rescue lives. We´re all together a big family of
firefighter. No matter if where we´re from.
Vey very very nice video. Sorry about lewis ward. Im a volunteer in spain.
The whole unit is. ALl of our equipmentis donated by other countries or
bought with money from fund raisers we do. Keep up the good work and
remember one thing: There is nothing stronger than the heart of a
volunteer. OUr units motto.
You can only imagine what we actually say to these people from inside the
truck going to a call! I agree, since 9/11 support for firefighters greatly
increased but recently I think that people are starting to move on and the
support from the people is starting to wain.
artistvrd - Thanks for the praise but we actually have a very small budget
considering our call load (2,500 - 2,900 annually). We just take pride in
our gear and that helps with the elbow grease! Best Wishes - Capt. Waas
The production value of this video is great. Occasionallly I think it would
be great it such vids had interviews, and people talking about the
department and the word they do. But still, a great vid!
Excellent mix of responding video and still pictures. Good composition and
arrangement, well coordinated with the music. Touching ending. This is one
of the better department videos I've seen.

translated this means: "Greetings from Spain of an Argentine Fireman, much
