@gone556 They knew that their was going to be a spill. It was designed to make sure that their was good reason to stop offshore drilling. If offshore drilling picked up and we got off of OPEC then we might no longer need electric cars. Obama was sure to sign an allowance for more offshore drilling shortly before to the desired image of bipartisan reason, knowing fullwell that the spill was going to happen. @dannyboone420 ROFL so true ^.^ America: you're being had by both parties! There's true bipartisanship in the US, but only in the sense that both sides take money from the same people and do the same thing... Bush sent the banks tons of money. I have already cast my early vote against her. I've written her on several issues in the last 4 years and she is a real "big money" whore just based on her responce. I have no idea how she didn't think it would catch up to her.

@soundsliketruck but it still comes down to BP not having an emergency plan in case a disaster like this happened. Im not sure any amount of money is going to save Louisiana and other places affected by the oil spill.

@soundsliketruck Actually environmentalist oppose any drilling at all. They especially showed displeasure when Obama gave into the republicans and allowed more off shore drilling.
