Hello :) They initially make the family wait outside while officials check green card, give instructions, assign seats to the new citizens and the likes. But during the ceremony proper they let the family members go inside and witness the ceremony :)

+Raptor Jesus He is probably at school of infantry right now. Spent those 3 weeks or so with family before he has to go to SOI. That or he failed. Which I highly doubt. It is really rare for anyone to drop out of boot camp in the Marine Corps.

Is it possible for me to join i have asthma only used my inhaler when i first got it when i was 11 or 10 for about 4 months im 16 now ran track my freshman and sophomore year i was one of the fastest at the mile in both my pe classes

I remember Watergate very well and saw his swearing in! And like President Ford, said "The National Nightmare is over". I agree it was a nightmare! I believe like God, had Esther, Joseph, and others ready for greatness, he had Gerry Ford, ready too! :) Yes......Chief Justice Burger, did a wonderful job. He too, was perfect for the part! Undoubtedly, this was one of the most Historic Presidential speeches ever and sincere too. God Bless President Ford! I'm sure he's still praying for America in Heaven! God Bless!

I think Ford has always been underrated. He was one of the most honest and decent men to hold the office. Cleaning up Nixon's mess was a thankless task.

It's hard to sum up something more complicated than it seems, which is what the Internet does. Usually, one book is more trustworthy than three or more websites.

Of course, but if you want a quick answer to a question, there it is.  Naturally, you can't believe everything you read online....OR in a book, for that matter. Find multiple sources on the same topic, consider the facts, and make your own decision, especially when it comes to controversial topics.

+John L​ Lol, thanks John. I asked that question when I was a freshman, which the closest course ninth grade offered to U.S. History was World Geography. I am now a sophomore and the closest course is World History. Our teachers teach the course chronologically, and we are currently in the Middle Ages, so the United States has not been founded yet. The course next year is U.S. History, so I will read on that subject as soon as the next school year starts.

+John Givens When Richard Nixon's former vice president, Spiro Agnew, resigned as a consequence in being involved in a tax evasion scandal, he appointed Gerald to take his place. Ford was then sworn in as the official vice president on December 6th of 1973.
