Thanks a lot for sharing this & trying to help people. Unfortunately if you
pick instead of bite it's a lot easier (for me) to do it in public, so it's
kind of a lot harder for me to catch myself doing it before it's too late.
I've always picked my nails during school under desks where a.) nobody
notices & b.) I don't realize what I'm doing until it's too late. I really
appreciate the tip, I'll give it a try!
Thanks for making the video. How are your nails now 3 months later? I'm
watching because I've been biting mine for 45 years and never really
stopped for longer than one month or two.

Thank you for your video and for the mud mask idea! I pick mindlessly at
the skin on my forehead near my scalp and I just feel sick about it every
time, I catch myself doing it because I feel the pain, then I have to
"finish" picking.... I hate it. And makeup on top of scabs makes me think
it looks worse, so I just don't go out if I have scabs :(

Hey Andy, there was one point i don't think you talked about this. i
learned tucked in it made things easier but my teacher said it really
doesn't matter but that when there tucked in u cant palm mute all the
strings as good as u can not tucked. this is just for beginners i'm not on
ether side i do both ways lol depending on what song i play.
@foolcool22 That's right its a very situational thing. Despite the title
the thing I was probably getting more at is whether its good or bad to sit
your fingers on the body of the guitar. With palm muting you fingers are
out but they floating not sitting on the guitar body. A~

Didn't want to relook this up on my account so I'm posting on my husband's
but that's not the right way to apply acrylic or gel.. you should have
started at your free edge then closer to the cutical and then the tip.. and
then dis one more light coat and made sure the edges weren't running..
because you were using to much liquid... and if you have weak and fragile
nails I wouldn't recommend this because you have to file your nail to get
the shiny layer of your nail off so that the acrylic or gel will stick..
I'm not a professional but I've been doing my own nails for 10 years
+Rainbow Blaze Thanks for your input! This helps us all. I guess it shows that if I can do it wrong and still make it work then anyone can get it. I didn't have to file the shiny layer off as long as I used primer. What do you mean by "free edge"? I'd like to do it right the next time. Thanks again.
