Hey Kimonica, I am probably 99.5% certain that you have what I have which
is called hidradenitis suppurativa which is a chronic, or ongoing,
inflammatory skin condition that is similar to acne but can be much more
severe. HS affects inverse areas of the body, places where skin rubs
together, such as under the breasts, the tops of the inner thighs, between
the buttocks, the genitals, and the armpits. Please ask your doctor about
it and please know its not only a "plus size" skin disease.
Hi Kimonica, I'm a nurse and it sounds like you have a staph infection. We
all carry staph on our skin but it sounds like certain products just
aggravate your lymphatic system. I think the staph may have entered your
body somewhere through a break in your skin. Also, check into the health
condition called Hidradenitis suppurativa. Try pure tea tree oil (you can
get it from walgreens) and mix it with your soap and wash the boil. FYI,
tea tree oil kills staph, fungus, and other bacteria.
Hello Kimonica! Thanks for the video! Have you ever tried Dr. Brunner's
Castile soaps? I know the trader Joe's near me sells the unscented and the
peppermint oil. I think Target sells all of the different scents. Also,
have you ever tried the Black soap from Ghana ( not the soap you made a
video on for dark spots on your face)? It has no scent (looks like a piece
of wheat bread). The Whole Foods near me carries it but you can buy a big
block on amazon. I use both with good results.
I am super sensitive too. I use the same Dove soap bar for ya know, the
goodies and body wash I usr Jason, get it at Vitacost, cheap for huge
bottle, suds alot, but has no parabens or the bad sulfates. I like the
Lavendar the best, Apricot is good too, HATE the Mango, the herb one I have
in my shower now, its good. Been using these for years, no sensitivities at
all, but ya know we're all different. I just go the natural route for
health reasons & my sensitive skin.
Thanks for the video. I get boils as well but I was told it comes from so
many things. I wish I knew so, I will try this. I was told it's caused from
stress, ingrown hairs, diet etc... It's so annoying! I've even had surgery
to have one drain & was told I should have gotten the core removed....
Hopefully, I will find something that will help soon! Oh yeah and I changed
my diet but I still got them so if anything mines could be caused by
stress. Thanks! :)
I'm the same way. I don't get boils but my skin gets irritated from
anything with fragrance. I use the dove bar as well. I tried the Johnson's
oatmeal and Shea butter lotions but it made me itch. BUT I found this Baby
Magic creamy oil lotion that is amazing and it smells good. (no
irritation!) Do you know of any other lotions that are good?
my mother got boils under her arms and such, they said the condition was
called hyrendentis. these days you can see a dermatologist for it. they can
prescribe medication and have other procedures that can be done. I am going
to see a dermatologist soon. my mother takes a medication that makes hers
go away and she hasn't had a problem since.
my skin is horrible. very bad, ance prone, boil prone, infection prone. I
use dove also and the one for sensitive skin it does a good job and you
feel nice soft and fresh. I also exfoliate often it really helps. you may
want to try to rub your body down with alcohol after your showers.. it help
remove extra dirty and oils from the body.
Love your videos! I get boils under my arms and have had to get the lanced
:/ my biggest problem is with shaving then using deodorant - drs have told
me to 'trim not shave' b/c I. Prone to them but who does that?! Wondering
if that's been an issue for you and if you've been able to avoid it? Thanks!
I used cetaphil soap it help to fight off the bacteria (sometime boils can
come from infected sweat glands) I have been told by several doctors to use
an anti bacteria soap & try to prevent soap with a lot of moisture in them,
also I was advise to switch to spray deodorants
thanks for making this i thot i was the only girl and it was hereditary buy
i had to stop using scented soap because of my skin and im allergic to
lanlion in lotion only thing i have found is equate brand at walmart
Vasline intensive care and i can use Baby wash
It sounds like HS - I have it too! So many people do, and no one knows what
causes it. I am having success with avoiding carbs and nighshade plants
(tomatoes, eggplants, etc) check out Primal Girl's blog, she has a lot of
info on this topic! HS SUCKS
I'm just the opposite, I can use any bodywash and any laundry soap that I
want to, but most lotions will bring red itchy welts onto my skin. Usually
the less fragrance and the thicker it is there is a higher chance that I
can use it.
Its sounds like you may have had hidradenitis suppurativa. Its sensitive to
both nightshades and dairy and some believe its an auto immune disease. I
have been an HS sufferer for several years beginning with puberty.
I'm so glad you were open and made this video. I couldn't wear deodorant
for a year, I would get the biggest boils. Shaving irritates my underarms
as well and causes instant boils. I can't wait to try this product
Boils arise from staph on the skin... I once read a blog that some people
bathed in a cap full of bleach and it worked wonders because it killed the
staph on the skin that caused their boils
i have to agree with ppl saying boils happen with what you put into your
body, i used to drink alot of diet sodas and got them alot, since ive
stopped drinking the sodas i rarely get them.
