i dont understand, i moved my pc about 2 metres away, and my monitor, ever since ive done that i get weird 800 ping when im in a gunfight, and your rubberband. Its not my internet this time, already had BT dig the road up to fix all that and every tom dick and harry working for my internet test shit, im completely lost on how moving my pc about a meter away and plugging it in again can fuck up my ping, break my h key on my keyboard and btw this is only in cs go lol help me before i go even more crazy. P.s when i'm dead in a comp game, my ping is 17, soon as the round starts again i start teleporting around everywhere wtf

+y0Jamzy Have you tried verifying your cache, scanning your comp for malaware/viruses. if not you might have to reinstall windows.. If that doesent work its something taking your Bandwith, try a ethernet cable instead of wifi if ur on wifi. There can be lots of reasons for it. Do a Speedtest to be sure ur internet is okay

I think it was my internet. Found out comcast was being shit, and it slowly stopped. I've also wiped my computer and reinstalled windows. It could be a virus, it could be anything. Reinstall the game, do some scans and see what u can do from there

I think it was comcast honestly, i also wiped my computer recently too i dont know if it had anything to do with it. Id say its your internet speed or something. Very unsure it was very weird and unplayable.

This happens because you're playing on wireless internet, use an ethernet cable and you should be fine, otherwise, this will continue to happen.

I had "-threads 8" in my launch options to optimize my cpu usage. i checked to see if "multi-core rendering" turned OFF would reduce input lag and screen tearing. and my game didn't crash on loading/. HOPE THIS HELPS

you can google your cpu to find thread cound, but i use "cpu-z" i have an intel i7 4820k its a quad-core 8 thread cpu. its possible to turn off cpu threading in the bios. and it would only show 4 threads and my game was crashing then as well. i also found that if your game crashes on map load or change go to your csgo cfg folder you can delete your "video.cfg" file and restart cs it will load but yo7 habe to reset your video options.
