Well, you probably can't really "measure" which one is quicker just because of this video. It only gives you an impression of the speed of these two cars. Since the D5 has given full throttle at around 30-40 km/h the T3 hasn't any advantage. The D5 therefore is still quicker, its just a lot closer than you might think:-)

What are your general impressions with S60? Overall build quality, ride quality (hardness, how well it apsorbs bumps and potholes)? Could you compare it with German rivals? And how would these two engines compare in in gear acceleration or for exemple 80-120Km/H? Thanks in advance!

As far as I know that the T3 has got a low inertia, low pressure turbo charger which can mimic diesel's low end torque but also have high rev capability. Both engines are nice though but I go for the T5. ;)

Did you run in a flatout mode? I thing both cars are so slow in accelerating between 180 - 200. My old D5 163 hp goes faster :)

Chip tune the T3 for 400$ and get 200+hp, then the D5 will get raped.

Кстати,у неё одна база с мондео и соответственно очень много запчастей взаимозаменяемы. Как пример - датчик давления подачи топлив (в рампе) разница почти в два раза,еще на ум приходит мотор печки - таже разница 2-2.5 раза,а коробка,парт.номер и маркировка детали идентичны.
