+ikke Ru These "radioactive particles" had no way to travel that far; during other nuclear accidents, explosions occurred which expelled the particles into the air and into the air's circulation, even ending up in the jet stream meaning that there is a threat of these particles being able to travel across the earth in large clusters, but in the situation you're talking about, no such event occurred, no explosion caused particles to be thrust forth into the atmosphere, although there is no doubt that few might have escaped and were able to travel, there would be no chance of an event that could travel across the whole of the north pacific ocean and reach North America in fact it would only be able to travel to about half of the '3 day' mark because of it's inability to travel plus the lack of particles in the first place, meaning that this event wouldn't take place; take into account events such as Chernobyl, in this disaster even a massive explosion such as the one that happened was only able to carry the main fallout to surrounding villages, and only a small amount was able to get into a viable air current, and even then, a threat never occurred ( I highly suggest looking this up, it's very interesting). Therefore I have come to the absolute conclusion with all the evidence stacked against it that this event has not/ will not occur.Next time, do try to be more up-to-date about these types of things before trying to discourage others and cause panic ;)
