Final Fantasy XIII Ultimania Scenario Guide Overview (Japanese Import)
Add me on Twitter-my-Fritter! www.twitter.com/OhMyTigerKitty KONNICHI WA! Sweet mother of molasses. I've just gotten the Final Fantasy XIII Ultimania ...
@WhiteGirlsAsianPLZ Whoops it was late that night and you can tell lol! :P
Thanks a lot. I'm not sure about my Uncle, but he's fluent in the Japanese
as with everyone else in my family (grandma, grandpa, uncles, aunts, mum,
dad, etc)... I've been there twice to visit relatives/Disneyland but it's
been a while! XD Yeah, this guide is definitely diverse. TGS was a bit
disappointing, I was hoping for a release date for FF Versus XIII...oh
well. At least we got Last Guardian's :D
@IFeltFreedom Hey, but you can play the Wonderswan - can't play the book!
XD Let me know how it is when you get it. Those Frenchies! :P And hell no,
LOL I am the only one of my family (not regarding sibs) raised in Canada
all my life...so naturally English is my first language. My next language
is French...and so Japanese is not the 1st two XD I know key phrases and
such, but I usually get family members to translate on the go. Maybe I
should take classes or something haha XD
I believe jealousy is something I should have for your item. that in
honesty is really cool and in many ways a lot better than the Wonderswan.
But, I am pretty excited about getting it. If only the chump from Quebec
who I bought it from will ship it!! If I had a better camera, I would post
it and show you, but sadly I don't. Do you know the Japanese language like
backwards and forwards? I am such a chump, I know a little french and a
little german, but nothing special at all
@Darro85 Cool book indeed! I actually liked Vanille, and her voice acting.
I think I can do a pretty good impression of her, my friends think it's
hilarious LOL (I'll see if I can do it in the next video). But anyways, I
don't mind her at all...I guess people just hate upbeat characters
sometimes (with Rikku as an exception). And :( I can't imagine the costs
for shipping in the UK. Really cheap though, if you only count the book
cost.
@FatMacTokyo Wow I can't believe you even noticed that. XD I was brought up
to say "about" that way since I've lived in Canada all my life (my english
teachers said it that way when I was younger so it has caught on)...but
lots of our media is American here and occasionally you'll hear an "Ab-owt"
slip (aka the "proper way"). Huh. And Mook...is a magazine-book? Best
coined term evar. XD
LOL You said you bought this December 17th 2010 :) That is awesome though!
How long has your Uncle lived in Japan? Have you been there before? Now
that is a nice guide that explains everything and then some plus a lot of
variety. Def. something different. Any opinions on TGS? I was let down but
I guess during the holidays things will pick up. Hope you've been well
behaved Sharon =D
@anupsanju All I care about is the artwork anyways ;) Haha. Yeah, that
would be awesome though I think XIII characters have the edge XD.
Hmm...well I don't hate Hope but...well...I....am sort-of not fond of him?
:P I don't know. I usually don't get irritated by characters but meh...he
was whiny and such in game and bleh. I think Vanille is far better! :O
Wow, that is so awesome. Great stuff, Japanese stuff is so awesome!! haha
that is actually really nice though. So much better than the piece SG we
got here. I totally need to learn how to speak Japanese :) just got Final
Fantasy for the Wonderswan Colour. So excited but I unfortunately do not
know how I am going to be able to play it in Japanese
@SomedaysDreamersBC Sweet, a Canadian designer! XD Yeah, I'm a fan of
Japanese guides and art as well. I'm sure they appeal to different
cultures/people though, so that may be a reason why North
American/PAL/Japanese art differentiate from each other. Have you seen the
Uncharted 2 box art for Japan? It's so cartoony! (and full of awesomeness)
Japanese guides are better than English guides; I can't even understand
what they say though, so maybe the actual guides are awful and they have a
lot of good artwork. :) Man, it would have been awesome to be able to face
off against the FFXII characters as end game content. Why do you hate Hope
so much? He's not "that" bad.
@redbuck82 That's what I thought too. I think her voice was the main
culprit in terms of people drinking haterade, but I love her voice. It's
hilarious when she talks about rainbows and sunshine. XD XIII wouldn't be
the same without her :o
@MettalicSnake I originally wanted it for the pictures/the sake of having
it, otherwise it wouldn't be very useful to me as a guide XD. I am not
fluent in Japanese sadly, so I get the rest of my family to translate LOL.
I'm evil muahaha.
@IFeltFreedom Thanks Tyler. :) Japanese stuff is cool, I've got some merch
in my closet. Maybe a video on them sometime :o FF for the Wonderswan
Colour? Dang nabit, I'm so jealous! :P Maybe there are translation guides
online? XD
As a designer I agree with the assessment that the Japanese guides/ box
arts etc etc are better in Japan. My experiences there and importing the
stuff they don't half measure the effort for designing covers and booklets
etc etc.
13 minutes made of pure WIN! The Ultimania guides are really awesome. They
have so many great stuff in it and the artwork is definitely very cool. I
am happy with the Piggyback guides but these look way better....
Pretty cool book. Am I the only one who didn't hate Vanille? Didn't mind
her really. Same with people hating Polka's voice in Eternal Sonata but I
love it. Probably cost a fortune here via import.
it's awesome, wish i could have it. I'm still killing Tortoises to get
Trapezohedrons 'n Ingots hahahah. Thanks 4 sharin'!! U should really scan
some pages 'n make a new video for your fans :D
@TigerFiction Wow, I found out about the Uncharted 2 cover art. That looked
awesome to be honest. Cover art in Japan is always crazy but way better
than North American or European art....
@Aerodynamisch Thanks Mike! Yeah, I mainly bought it for the art and the
Scenario guide is awesome for that. I love all the colours they incorporate
into them. :P
Nice vid. I really liked Vanille, I thought her role in the story made her
very dynamic as a character, and I found her voice entertaining and not
annoying.
@DlNKYDANA Yeah XD I actually didn't mind her either...I think some people
just like to hate on characters like Vanille (YouTube is littered with
hate) :X
@delchavez Thanks Mr./Miss Delchavez XD. Her role was very important in
XIII. Of course we're not going to spoil it here are we? ;)

Beginners Guide Import Konsolen - Dengeki Gamer
