Actually the following points work for every country:
1.) Fly worst class.
2.) Don't use a hotel, use AirBnB or Couchsurfing.
3.) Speak the language.
4.) and don't be a dick! ;)
Thats all. Thats how I spent 400 bucks in Moscow, where people usually get
close to 2000 or 3000. ;)
One thing I learned is to get money from a 7-11 ATM machine as the rate of
exchange is usually better than most places. If you have a card that has no
foreign transaction fees, you save even more money.
+Perdomot I think the 7-11 ATM is quite good. It's a little bit expensive for me, but it's not so bad. And there's always a 7-11 nearby with an ATM ready to use :)
Japanese Currency is getting weak.
That would help Tourist??
And I don't know there is some places where we can stay at ¥1,500.
When I went to Shimane on Business, I stayed at Manga cafe.lol
I payed about ¥2,500. Not bad hahaha
+Japanese Man I think it is, yes. I will exchange my money soon ^^I stayed at some small hostels - it was fine for me even though it was not always such good quality, because I want to enjoy Japan as long as I can every summer :) But for rooms it is expensive, I think..

Yeah landing is always 90 days with or without a visa, the visa just makes it so you keep going after the 90 for Americans. I'm back in the states until next year and I'll go back to Japan to finish my fluency and study. I'm fine with either, I just see comments before messages because these ping my phone, and messages don't do anything! :P
+Chad Zimmerman Thats wonderful Chad. Whats like the normal stay with out a Visa? Like 90 days? Thats Awesome I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for all the advise. Are you currently there? Do you do missionary work there? Would you mind if i Private Message you or do you Prefer commenting? Either way is fine with me. Thanks, Thanks
dude one of the best most helpful videos I have watched I plan on going in
a year and a half wish I didn't have to wait that long but you have got a
new sub for this vid and also how do you spell that place about the
apartments you can rent wile you stay
+Chad Zimmerman is there anyway i can ask like message or something? it isn't bad but i'd rather not say it on the comment section, if you know what i mean {:
+IamJakeB Not that I'm the expert, but if you're looking for some certainty on some things I'd be happy to help! Since coming back I actually got 2 people to come with me on my next trip :p I'm a helper by trade

The Golden Boy Project -Traveling in Japan on a Shoestring Budget
HIS BLOG! //goldenboyproject.blogspot.jp/ -- //youtube.com/teamrocket0 //www.wwoofjapan.com/main/ //www.wwoof.org/asia-pacific.asp ...
i get your point, but i think it's psychologically very easy for some
people to help a guy like this while ignoring the people he literally
sleeps next to in the park who actually have a true and serious need, i
think that's a problem, and something people really need to think about. if
i had money to give away, which i don't these days, i would choose someone
with a true need to give it to. people with privilege can become very blind
to those among them who are suffering and it's a real shame.
haha. dude, i get it. you really, really hate it when people raise
significant social issues. for whatever psychological reason it makes you
really, really angry. & then you feel a compulsion to engage in an endless
bickering & insult match. i don't know much about you, but maybe some good
exercise, sleep & backing off the booze might help? after that you could
relocate to germany & devote yourself to taking care of those poor germans.
they are so needy. help them! haha. couldn't resist .
yeah, i know. it's very interesting how the u.s. insured that both japan &
germany would become very rich following ww2. but that's another topic.
apparently there are legitimately homeless people in japan who presumably
could use a lot more help than this guy. sure, give the guy a job if you
have one for him, but donations? i think there are people in greater need.
but, people should do whatever they want. if they want to help this guy &
ignore people who are really suffering, fine.
chill out dude. haha. anyway, i haven't seen that many of your videos. do
you have any about helping homeless people in japan, or helping any of the
other people in that park? i'm not saying that it's your obligation. i'm
just saying that it's very easy for privileged people to notice & help
other privileged people & to turn a blind eye to the people who are really
in need. happens all the time.
I wouldnt call him a goldenboy...its cute, the reference. But not golden
boy. Atleast the kid is in japan. Me, i wish i was there, but no...i'm
stuck here in las vegas, sucking dirt, paying bills, and later looking at
my wallet and say to myself, "where the fuck all my money went?!!" The more
time passes, the more i am seeing that i should have been a bank robber, or
drug dealer
haha. i have quite a high i.q. people can do both. but you've been asking
people to help a dude from a wealthy country & i simply raised the issue
that there are people more in need. for whatever psychological reason this
disturbed you greatly. when i have money to spend i make my ethical
choices. we agree on one thing. this conversation is a waste of time. ciao.
sigh. dude, look at your comment on "and and both" and then some of the
other things you've said. honestly man, you've got some kind of issues as
well as some time on your hands to go trolling on & on & on in regards to
someone bringing up a legitimate social issue. not sure what your problem
is but i'm not interested in spending more time on this. best of luck.
Victor, I have a question: Earlier you said that Marc spends the night in
his tent in a park or something. Is that allowed in Japan? Here in Germany
you have to get a special permission to do that if it's not on private
ground... An Marc: Viel Erfolg mit deinem Projekt, ich finde die Idee
genial! ;)
That's a very interesting project and I think you need a bunch of guts to
such a crazy thing :D To be honest, I'm kind of jealous :P It's so sweet of
you for helping him Victor^^ Hau rein Mark. Ich habe großen Respekt vor
deinem Vorhaben und wünsche dir dabei alles erdenklich gute. Ganbatte ne!
i was wondering is there lot's of chinese people or indonesia people lives
in japan too either they're international student or foreign worker . wanna
go there but need to know the good reasonable living cost /month if you
like to mobile or traveler from one place to another place in japan
When I heard that the age limit was 25, I felt slightly worried as this
would make next year my last chance, but having read up on it, there seems
to be an exception for the UK that allows me to get a working visa until
I'm 30. I'll follow in Marc's footsteps yet.
lol, I'm from Germany too and Golden Boy was one of the first anime I saw
in German free TV. That was before Animes were so widespread/accepted. And
they only imported perverted stuff to Germany as they thought no one would
watch normal Animes.
Ok I'll shut up cause I said one negative word about a person. I'm glad you
are subscribed to me and feel I'm part of your community. I'm not joking.
And I have no idea what that last bit was... I'm weird as well, in
different ways. Sorry...
Dunnt mention the vor! lol awkward! The working holiday visa is reciprocol
i think, it's an agreement some countries have between them, the UK is one
of them too but I left it too late *sob he he anyway good luck Marc!
I just think it's so cool, Victor, that you found this random guy on the
street and are now supporting his dream! I think it says a lot about your
character!! :D And I'm rooting for him, too!! :D
Don´t know if the question from Victor for the working holiday visa in
germany for japanese people was solved, but Japanese People can do that in
Germany. A friend of mine did it last year!
I just arrive in Tokyo like 10 days ago too.... Am looking for a job while
studying Japanese Language. Good luck to Golden Boy, we are in the same
situation. 一緒に頑張って!!
very kind of you to go to these lengths to help the kid out victor.
cosplayers scare me a bit tbh, especialy with stuff like fox tails but each
to their own, the world needs all types
Yes we do know who the Incredible Hulk is ! ;) The boy is a little bit
strange but I really respect him for his plans :D My 3 month visit to japan
was enough for me (for now) :D
its cool from you that you are "promoting" him and try to help him to find
a job, the 60sec videos are also pretty nice only the cosplay thing would
not be something for me :P
haha. no, dude. if you look back at your comments what i'm referring to
should be obvious. adios because i'm not going to spend more time on this
interaction. good luck.

It's back in production and will hit the shelves next month (yay from my end, at least!)Also just FYI, labs in countries like S'pore, England, Dubai tested maggi produced in India and found it safe to consume as per safety standards back when all the fiasco happened here. Conspiracy, I tell you!
