Microsoft Surface 3 LTE Review
After finally ditching the confines of Windows RT, the Microsoft Surface 3 tablet comes offering a full-blown Windows 10 experience, just like its Pro cousin.
This is not fair. How can you compare a phone operating system, consumption
device against a full blown pc/tablet hybrid? The iPad Pro should be
compared against other consumption devices that run phone operating systems
like Android. The iPad Pro will sell because it has an Apple logo on it and
for no other reason.
+Tyler Mondano i agree id rather have a full windows experience and use programs i already own than a ios and the app store but i do wish it was a little smaller like the ipad air, that would be nice.
+Prasad Bankar that is bullshit, it can even display 4k using an external monitor, rendering and editing of 4k is also possible, what is you point? play a 4k video? sure u can but whats the point?
+thewebmogul The processor on this tablet cant even play 4k video where as you can fully edit and render 4k video on iPad and soon there will be better support and updates for iPad pro
Windows 10 Tech Preview on the Surface Pro 3 : Windows 10 Tech Preview
Microsoft recently released a technology preview of their new Windows operating system that's meant to unify desktop PCs, tablets, phones, and even large ...
Microsoft Windows 10 Devices Event - Surface Book, Surface Pro 4
I assure u 95% does not run on windows, u seem to forget about all the Linux/Unix/Mac servers there are, which im sure im safe to assume they out number Windows(~35% where windows in 2013) and also Mobile. Yes most Desktop/Laptops are Windows, but that’s mostly because of convenience, cost and lack of intelligence. Dell is a shit company and so is Microsoft, but needless to say that doesn't change the system most of the audience is using..
I can't believe that MS can't do an infinity screen when Dell can and Dell can't do a 360 when the technology is available to do so. Maybe the next gen MS Surface Book will have the infinity screen
+kanehi The XPS is completely different from this form wise. I wish the XPS could fold 360 degrees at least.

Google Nexus 10 vs Microsoft Surface RT
For more details, check out our web site: //www.phonearena.com/reviews/Google-Nexus-10-vs-Microsoft-Surface-RT_id3210 Attempting feverishly to make ...
Yes because the surface has office 2013 full version and it has more
modifying the system since it has almost all of the options of modifying
the system that the full version of windows has like regedit, msconfig and
so on, i really think he should reconsider the fact that he said, there is
one down side becouse the surface doesnt have much apps but it is growing
very quickly. Plus the windows 8 update code named "windows blue" witch
will modify system kernel and polish the OS with more features
Oh and your comment that Android is a more developed OS is nonsense. Due to
fragmentation of Android with the number of devices out there with so many
hardware specs, it is difficult to optimize the app to a level which can me
mostly supported by most devices. While the standard for RT and Metro is so
much more focused, especially in terms of hardware power and screen res for
scaling purposes, apps on RT just work, but it is widely known that there
are too little good apps for Android tablets.
Relax everybody. Get whatever platform you prefer. If you like live tiles,
Microsoft office, and the fluidity of the OS, get Windows RT. If you like
customization, widgets, and media consumption, go for android. As long as
you buy an android tablet from within the past year, lag has largely been
eradicated. Loyalty to platforms is what leads to lack of innovation. Just
look at apple's iOS. Though it is very simple and smooth. I don't think a
YouTube comment is going to change peoples opinions.
No contest, surface wins, the type cover and microsoft office lets you do
serious work and the fact that the type cover is thin and adds hardly any
size to the tablet itself, the surface is comfortable and feels like a
computer, you can sit it on a table with type cover and the experience will
be comfortable and enjoyable. The web browser is also superior, when the
app store improves(rt is a new operating system) it'll be like having a
very affordable pc They are making a 7 inch one too
RT is not fundamentally flawed compared to Android. It is smooth in the
same way as iOS, BB and even Symbian. The UI is generated at a higher than
average priority, and memory management means that the RT will be as
smooth, if not more smooth because RT is not flawed in that aspect. Also,
because RT shares the same codebase as Pro with the C++ C# and Javascript
on Metro, which means apps porting is easy. But Dalvik on Android sucks. It
is the most inefficient runtime environment ever.
Obvious android fanboy. All you could talk about is the resolution and
cameta, which are not that important considering rt had a nice display with
good contrast and who takes a whole lot of photos with a tablet anyways?
Also you failed to mention how rt has office which is very important and
that it has flash on its browser, those 2 factors make it much better than
the credit you're giving it. Also lets not forget how the multitasking
destroys the nexus 10's and the build quality
Nexus 10 price @ $399 10.1 inches display 1.33 pound 2560 x 1600 resolution
with 299ppi 16gb storage 2gb ram Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15 CPU (faster
than Tegra 3) 5mp camera vs Surface RT price @ $499 (same price as iPad
4LOL) 10.6 inches display 1.5 pound 1366 x 768 resolution with 148ppi 32gb
storage 2gb ram Tegra 3 CPU 1mp camera (LMAO) M$ fanboys are paying $100
more for less/outdated hardware LMAOOOOOO and they call Apple fanboys
sheeps, LMAO the real sheeps is M$ fanboys
Picked up a Surface RT with keyboard for $430 and comparing it to my GFs
nexus 10 it is way more usable. You actually get shit done on the Surface
RT then bust out the natively supported xbox controller and rock some zelda
or smash tv on the snes emulator. Android rocks on phones but falls short
on tablets IMO. And yes I know you can sync a ps3 controller to android but
it's a total PITA and the 95+% of Android devices aren't rooted so they
can't even try.
yes, with the usb cable that came with your tablet... if its a ipad then
use itunes, if its android then find the music you want on your tablet in
windows explorer, copy it to: My Computer > (your tablet name) > Music.
There You Go, I would recommend using Google Play Music app and then
uploading your music to the cloud on your pc with the music manager program
for pc, then you can stream/download the songs off the cloud onto your
tablet
depends what you want the tablet for. Ipad 4 has the huge advantage of the
apps. If that is a big thing for you go for that. I personally have always
used ios and yesterday I got the nexus 10. I like the os more than i do ios
since it allows you to do more. They're both great tablets. The nexus 10
might not be great for you if you want to have a lot of apps. Google play
does have most of the major games though. You'll be happy either one
That's nonsense. Project Butter is just a brand to describe Android's
efforts to reduce lag. Android is fundamentally flawed, that it doesn't run
UI generation on high CPU priority. It takes a quad-core Android tablet to
be as smooth as a single-core iPad 1, which is ridiculous. Animations of
the panels are one thing, but Android suffers from terrible input lag, but
because you are a Fandroid, you don't know what those mean.
Okay little kids, the Nexus 10 is meant as toys, for entertainment. The
Surface RT is for more professional and for adults and their jobs. For
example, being an architect, you can use the Surface. Another example is
for college students to take notes, plus it's more portable and light
weight. The Nexus 10 is used for entertainment. For example, you can use
gaming, watching movies, or playing with apps.
It really sounds like your favoring the nexus 10. Your not mentioning
everything. The Microsoft surface rt is not just a tablet it's also a
laptop hence the name tablet hybrid. You also keep mentioning the detail.
Don't talk about the same thing. The surface is also flash and java
supported. Your only mentioning the pros of the nexus mostly the cons of
the surface.
I haven't bought any tablets until I purchased the Surface RT last week,
and thank God I did! Its complete comprehensiveness, productiveness, and
awesomeful nature as MORE than just a tablet isn't being tapped into in
almost every review I've seen on youtube. Oh well, the wise ones will catch
on while others shall eventually languidly follow.
Listen you chinease fuck IOS is nothing compared to android and nexus is
awsome so fuck you go suck steve jobs cock you fat chinease faggot fuck you
and fuck apple fuck iphone fuck ipod fuck ipad fuck macbook air fuck
macbook pro fuck itv fuck everything apple if you are an apple fan boy go
suck a big dick
Windows RT has an uphill battle with the iPad and Android tablets. Right
now, I hardly consider it to be a viable alternative platform. However, if
developers start paying more attention to it, Windowa RT could become a
very strong tablet platform. Buy I don't think it'll replace my Android
tablet.
Because even though you have access to some other windows applications it's
still RT, Android is a much better developed OS which brings you all the
features you need, unlike windows RT where those programs are runing like
on a non-touch-device, there's an obvious difference.
Microsoft said they matched expectations on WP8 for PC. However Intel just
announced in another 3 years they are no longer making motherboards, I
never bought an Intel board anyway, Gigabyte all the way baby. There
focusing on Ultrabooks, Notebooks and Mobile devices.
Google DOCS is making some headway against the "safe" Microsoft Office
Suite software. With all of the OTHER pluses going to the Nexus 10, why
would anyone purchase a tablet for $100 more that is so underwhelming
compared to the Nexus 10?
sorry but the surface was humiliated! ha and i watched a review of the
surface it was unbeleivably buggy and lagged up a bunch and when cut the
rope was opened it was slower than wind erosion. at least microsoft is
trying tho i guess..
if you are a student the surface rt is as good as it gets for ease of use
and the app snapping is extremely handy in class, if you want to experience
more apps and games or just treat your tablet as a game console, nexus 10,
easy.
I don't know why people complain about Windows 8. Installed it on my
desktop and I'm really quite enjoying it. Windows RT however just doesn't
cut it at the moment and full Windows tablets are just too much for what
they are.
Windows RT lacks a lot of features... The only good thing Windows RT has
is: Office, but I don't buy a tablet for Office. I buy a tablet with a lot
of apps and entertainment, and that's where Windows RT tablets fails.
Stop being a fucking retard please, this is about RT, not the Pro which
cost more than double of the nexus 10, only the pro is a hybrid, RT is just
a tablet, you are not even allowed to install your own program.
even with android 4.2.2 there is still lag on most android devices. It
takes android a quad-core CPU to be as smooth as Apples dual core chips.
Android still has a long way to go.
7 Best Apps for Windows 10
Windows 10 is awesome on its own, but it can be made a lot better with these 7 best apps for Windows 10. In this video, I'll show you my absolute favorite ...
+TechnoMaverick ,Excuse me, Google actually does develop apps for Windows it's just that they are not available to download straight from the Windows 10 market.Just because the developers might not have their apps available directly from the Windows Store does not always mean that they have not developed apps for Windows. Okay, Google doesn't have a YouTube app for Windows. I agree with you there but they do have Google Chrome browser and Chromecast for Windows, they have Google Drive for Windows, they have Google Play Music for Windows . The thing is that you get to them through the Google Website not the Windows Store.
