brother i plan to buy a laptop or notebook core i3 or i5 can you guide me
please. and what is different between notebook and laptop?
i wait your response thank you :-)
+Voltaire Cabalan Notebooks generally have a weaker processor intel Atom etc, Smaller screen and are more portable. However, they have their own advantages depending upon your circumstances. Laptops vary from gaming laptops to word processing laptops which are for basic surfing etc. It really depends, upon your budget. for £300 - 400 pounds you could get a core i5, 1 tb hdd and 4gb/8gb ram.
Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro base cover removal
Unlike the first generation Yoga, the Yoga 2 Pro has one mSATA slot instead of two. The base is pretty easy to remove, but be careful not to use excessive force.
Hi i was wondering if there is a 2nd slot for a ssd? I know the newer one
has one under the keyboard. But does this specific model in the video have
a 2nd slot or just the one under the back panel?
Thank you so much that's what I thought. Sucks how they did not add a 2nd ssd slot. I don't know why they did away with it. This laptop is awesome and this would of put the cherry on top of it. Thanks again.
There is no second SSD slot for the Y2P model. I'm not sure if the new Y3P has one, but the first generation Yoga does have a second SSD slot.I just use my SD card slot for expansion. You can have a 256GB micro SD flushed, but not as fast as an SSD.

Lenovo Y50 RAM upgrade
Installing 8 GB DIMMS to replace the 2x 4GB DIMMs that the Lenovo Y50 comes with.
It sucks that they didn't put an M.2 or even an mSATA slot in this thing.
I was considering getting one and running an SSD for OS and applications
and the HDD for documents, pictures, Steam library, etc.
hey, im planinig on upgrading my y50 gaming laptop's 8gb ram to 16gb ram,
are the ram the same in the video? and do i need to reinstall windows after
i put the ram inside?
+Vision33r Well, yeah. Switching from really slow RAM to really fast RAM can still improve the framerate slightly, however, esp going from single to dual-channel. Just figured I'd point that out.
+The Axis PoweR Most games are still 32bit which means they can't use more than 4GB of memory and if you have 8GB which is enough to run the OS and the game, it is more than enough. Having more memory only helps the ability to multi-task multiple apps or 64bit apps can use more memory.
+Dynek i'm a little bit disappointed because i added my old 2gb to my laptop It already has 8gb so my laptop has now 10gb, and i thought it do improve the frame rate of games or more powerful to deal with higher graphics of games. Thx for explanation btw!
+The Axis PoweR RAM doesn't really affect gaming performance however, it may speed up some processes like video rendering or editing.
Lenovo Yoga 2 11 Review
Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo Yoga 2 11 inch ultraportable 11.6" laptop. This is the smallest Yoga and it runs full Windows 8.1 64 bit (not RT) on a 2.16GHz ...
I found one of these "Like New" for under $300 on Amazon. Would it be worth
it for school and some light gaming? I know it'll run lighter games like
Minecraft and some older emulators, but would it run something like a
GameCube emulator? Thanks!
Anybody has a laptop with the same processor? I feel like going with
pentium because i3 is way too expensive... Can the cpu with 4gb ram handle
like 10 tabs in google chrome, with skype opened? How about gaming too. I
usually play s4 league, but not everybody plays it so I'm not sure how it
plays. Oh also, can it handle 1080p videos in youtube?
+Kahlo kahlow league is okay about like 40 fps on everything low at 720p and csgo runs okay as long as there is not a lot of people. Multitasking is alright but 10 tabs in chrome will probably bog it down because of the ram limit.
Between Lenovo Yoga 2, Acer Switch 11 and Dell inspiron 11 wich one would
you recomend me for college use I like to do some photo editing in
photoshop and some time use remote desktop
I own a Yoga 2 11 Clementine. You have to get an SSD in this from day 1.
The HDD is the main (and big) bottle neck in the whole unit. After that I
was very pleased with my laptop. Removing the bottom cover was a piece of
cake. Get T5 Torx head screw driver and preferably the thinner Samsung EVO
SSD; however, the 7.1mm SSD I purchased fit with no issues.
+Harky a 9mm ssd fit in this? i thought the original hard drive is 5mm? planning on switching
