Yes, in Indian and Arabic restaurants, you do eat with your right hand. When I was in Saudi, I ate in a traditional restaurant, on the floor and ate out of large, shared bowls of food. It was excellent and a wonderful experience.Your left hand is used for personal hygiene.
Over the years I have learned to eat using the Canada way, the American
way, the European way, the Muslim way, eating with my fingers in some
cultures and eating with chopsticks. There is a time and place to use each
of these skills.

The Parisians were so rude and unhelpful .I swore I would neither speak
French or return to Paris. I have kept my word.
I went to Barcelona instead- the people could not be more welcoming .They
went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my stay . I am a repeat patron
