HOW TO MAKE AN EDIBLE FRUIT BOUQUET (EDIBLE ARRANGEMENT)
Hope you enjoy this video on how to make an Edible Fruit Bouquet! I love to make these for Baby Showers, Weddings, Birthdays, or just to brighten someones ...
This is a great tutorial, but there are some valid concerns with using
Styrofoam and I think a good substitute would be a rice krispie ball- like
what they use in cake making. It's hard to find a video on making rice
krispie balls, but if you follow a recipe for rice krispie squares it will
work. Instead of packing the rice krispies into a dish just let them cool a
bit and form them into a ball by hand. If you are worried about it drying
out you can put a layer of fondant on it.
I think with all those dry fruits it might be all right to tooth pick them
onto the styrofoam ball, not with fresh fruit though. If you remove the
rind off a melon or honeydew you can skewer that into flower foam thats
inside your ceramic base. The fruit won't touch the foam directly and then
you can skewer or toothpick your other fruits.
i don't understand why he uses gloves in hadling the base, styro and the
glue gun. then remove the gloves when hndling the food, are you trying to
contaminate the food you are making? and those glue gun and styro balls are
not sanitary to be used around food..
@finchiestiffler79 I guess he might want to protect his fingertips from
glue chemical (for his own protection, not for the anticipated eaters of
the edible. So in this sense (if I am right), potential chemical
intoxication could be possible.
Hey TheNaylababy you may not know apreciate all the wonders and delicious

Thank you for this wonderful idea! I've been trying to figure out a way to

Thanks for this. I live in Santiago Chile and I've seen these growing
around neighbors' gates. I just picked a few dried fruits off them and
will plant the seeds are you suggest. Can't wait! These are such amazing
flowers! By the way, I grew up in the midwest and enjoyed listening to
your accent! (Wisconsin?)
It sure looks beautiful. I have a feeling that this summer you will get
some flowers, when it is back outside getting brighter light and warmer
temperatures, you will end up with tons of flowers. That's my guess.
I hope so... just got to remember to not forget to water indoors.. so far new growth is coming and seems to love it indoors..:) thanks for stopping by~!

+socratesthecabdriver Hi Socrates- You might be right. What I have in mind is to show short, useful and very specific how to carving techniques that I've learned or developed. i.e.: what tools, where and how I would carve away and handle the wood grain in relation to the design. Those videos won't happen for awhile though. Right now Im painting 3 new relief sculptures. One is 95% done, the second is 80% done and the third is 70%. Thank you for your support and encouragement all of these years. -Scott
+ScottMcNeillArt that would be great for us that love to admire real good things happen ... what you do on wood I never seen anywhere else ... really love it and if I ever had a budget for real art , yours be the one I'd buy :)
+socratesthecabdriver I plan on using this hands free, head mount camera to make some new instructional woodcarving videos... Im still making art everyday I can. - Scott
