The turbo petrol Tucson needs servicing every 7,500 km! That is ridiculous
for a family suv. It certainly takes it off my shopping list, and in my
opinion should have been mentioned in the comparison.
Hyundai is absolutely incredible. From a company that was thought to be
horrible and unreliable, makes one refresh in 2023 and completely dominates
the auto market, and is predicted to best Honda and Toyota within the next
3 years. From a conpany that was never an option for consumers is now a
company that is demolishing other car companies
Hyundai has achieved one thing that no one can argue with, they have give the Japanese brands something to be afraid of. Regardless of who has the best product at the moment, the consumer wins.
There's no contest.
The Tucson looks better inside and out, is more powerful, has superior
performance and ride quality, has better fuel economy, is more refined, is
more spacious, is better equipped and has a superior warranty.
Only a mug would choose the Mazda over the Tucson.
These are the two I'm cross-shopping. Each have different strengths &
weaknesses. Then there are personal choices varying by opinion. The Dash &
Steering Wheel design in Mazda is the low point of that vehicle. I/m/o. The
steering feel in the Hyundai isn't as sharp? I will have to wait & test
drive one :-)
+Coupydog Definitely test drive both, they're great cars both with different strengths and weaknesses as you say.. Don't forget to factor in after sales care too. Really comes down to personal choice with these two!
+Motoring Australia Hyundai Tucson all the way.. Here in the US, you have to be on a waiting list to get a Tucson. This is how popular Tucson is.. Well done, Hyundai for a one good looking beaut!!
+Mr. Mazda Cuz your name is Mr. Mazda .. lol I respect ur opinion.

On the premium model, does the drivers electric seat come with a memory

positions.
+Stepehen EvansHi Stepehen, no unfortunately not. The i40 & Santa Fe are the only models to offer seat memory functions within the current Hyundai range. Thanks for your question. - Digi Team
Hi WessexGarages,
Probably a silly question, is the car in the video Thunder Grey (which it
looks like) or Moon Rock? When I viewed the Tuscon in a showroom I though
the car I viewed was Thunder Grey but was told it was Moon Rock by the
salesman, now I can't decide which colour to order. Many Thanks
+Aki Padre Hi Aki, As you probably know specifications for cars tend to be a bit different with global brands catering for a wide variety of customers. We've just done a bit of research and found the Australia spec for the Tucson Highlander showing the Park Assist System (8 parking sensors with audible warning) but no mention of 'Smart' park assist. Hyundai Press Office Australia would give you a more definitive answer I think, thanks for your question, have a good day/night ?//www.hyundaipressoffice.co.uk
