This video is about how to repair bleeding clock noise on an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man delay pedal. I happen to have the early four-knob version ...
Hello! Thank so much for this vid. But, can I ask you? What about the
problem with distortion in delayed signal?
Part 2 of 2.Servicing guitars- How to replace volume knobs/ pots.
This is part 2 of 2, Servicing my Lap Steel Guitar,in this video I show you how to replace a volume control ( pot ) or tone controls on electric guitars, its the same ...
As always, very helpful, thanks Nelly. Now, I feel like changing the
potentiometers on my old guitar. I also started to play a bit of slide
thanks to your videos. Well, I use standard tuning, because I'm too lazy to
tune it back everytime I'm done with the slide.
This is not an advertising page, don't try to promote a product on here for money, or at least explain you're endorsed by a company. It's not a good method to advertise a product, it's unsustainable - Large brands should not advertise there strings on a personal YouTube video like this, Nelly should be aloud to pick the strings he wants. If you want to promote a product, fund it - it's called marketing! Especially sending a personal message like that 'Hey Nelly' is not good, it's not going to be successful and I find it annoying how you try to act experienced when talking to Nelly. Stop ruining pages like this with adverts. Thank you - J Martin, TCM
Strictly no blabbering........dude. Short n sweet....Some vids drive me mad...its like get to the point.....a watched a slide vid ,this guy took 5 mins to play a note... cut to the chase.... let the dog see the rabbit !!

A comprehensive demo of the Electro Harmonix Soul Food, their transparent overdrive. This video also includes a round-up of EHX's new dirt pedals, explaining ...
Hi, I'd like to have in my pedalboard a low gain overdrive pedal, useful
for the crunch parts but also to boost my distortion pedal for the solo
parts. I am choosing the Soul Food or the East River Drive..can you tell me
the difference and what it may be best for my intention of use?
1:36 Heard the first chord, and I was like MAC DEMARCO?!? And then you went
down I WAS YESYEYS, but nah you didn't actually do it, unfortunately.
TOGEEEEETHER
+Jesper Locher what were you really expecting? typical pedal reviews ... solos with boring 'classsssssiic'' rock riffs... piuuu piuuu piu..peeuuu peeeiii
I would say yes it will work as a treble boost as what is normally the tone knob on OD pedals is actually a treble knob and gives a very wide midrange rich OD, it's a very very versatile pedal a and great for clarity and brightness if your tone is lacking in that dept.
How to upgrade knobs on Volca Bass; Install any knob made for 1/4" solid shaft pots.
Here I show how to remove and replace knobs on a Korg Volca. I used the Volca Bass here, but all the knobs are the same. The smaller light-up knobs are the ...
Have this pedal and looking to have JHS mod it for me, looking to get much
more compression and gain. High Gain mod for me, how is the clarity of both
mods?
This vid does not do this pedal justice. Sounds terrible. I own this
pedal... amazing distortion. My favorite distortion pedal by far. And Ive
owned them all. TONS of mids. You can also scoop the mids to get a bad ass
rip your face off tone. The top boost is pointless IMO... unusable. If you
play one... you'll know what I mean.
@DevilGene66 It will sound alright, but you should get a tube amp to match
the guitar you have... a Peavey Valveking 112 or 212 is a good start. Just
swap out the speaker with better ones and you're good to go, actually. They
start at $400 bucks, I got one for $300 on craigslist. Depends on your luck.
I had the MM with Top boost. I played it in church once. Ummmm... let's
say.. ummmmm...opps! :">. This pedal is far better than that stupid
Digitech Death Metal pedal. It's really strong through a tube amp and the
sustains are real good. That Line 6 stuff isn't bad at all until you use it.
@WashbearAlert First of all, that is a mini humbucker les paul deluxe.
Second, If p-90s arent metal then you had better throw out your Sabbath
records right now because Tony Iommi uses P-90s all the time... Not to
mention Leslie West, Pepper Keenan, Eddie Clarke, and Ron Asheton...
I have this pedal... It surprised me it sounds awesome... But you really
need to go easy on the treble... The pedal has alot of treble...Too much
and it will take your head off.. I have it pretty low at about 9 o'clock
and my mids and bass are at around 2 or 3 o'clock...
who cares about the guitar and amp if you can get a sound like that out of
a guitar its metal to me and lets not forget metal artists that use les
pauls. Rhandy Rhoads Adrian Smith Dave Murray Zakk Wylde Jimmy Page Ace
Frehley muff said.
Funny you should mention seymours, I dropped a pair of blackouts in my JS30
Warrior.....OMG, if you want the best metal tone ever, Blackouts are for
you! And yes I said JS30, Jackson's entry level guitar sounds effing
AMAZING with these.
@willyhung1204 use mine with a Fat Strat and a Fender Blues Deluxe (got on
CL for $400 but it sounded great without switching parts) and it sounds
extra sick. I can go from deep bluesy tone to thrashing hardcore metal in
an instant.
Cool sounding pedal, and great playing. This is one of those sounds that's
not all that great on it's own, but in the mix with bass and a different
sounding rhythm guitar, probably works well. I bet this is a pretty useful
pedal.
Did you all know that the first Marshall amp was just a hot rodded Fender
Bassman? So to everyone who keeps complaining that you can't play metal
through a Fender amp, well guess what? Everyone using a Marshall pretty
much is.
I'm not sure if you have your answer seen as it's been 3 months, but it's a
common thing with extreme gain pedals, lots of gain means lots of
compression, so the noise in the signal will be compressed and brought out
a lot
I actually really like the first tone. All of the other tnes that this guy
dials suck, he has no idea how to use it, but the first tone was really
nice and, i'm not going to say subtle, but just a cool little growl.
@caskettheclown i have a line 6 spider jam amp. if i bought this, would it
sound quite bad, even if i turn all distortion settings on amp to zero?
Equipment : - Line 6 Spider Jam Gibson SG Special Worn Cherry
Yeah, his tone's really crap in this video, the reviewers playing style and
equipment doesn't really show it in it's 'fully glory'. Check out the
Chareeto's review of it to see it's true potential ; )
@drking9313 I have one. It becomes noisy only when you push your gain over
12 o'clock, but just a little...no hiss before that. And believe me, this
thing at 9 o`clock gives you a lot of distortion.
Bingo. I agree. I would say, test it on an Ibby or Fender Flathead etc
(something with EMG's or more metal suited pups like you said) with maybe a
5150 or rivera knucklehead? what would you say?
Good pedal, great guitar. Put it all together, crap. Perhaps not the best
reviewer and not the ideal guitar to test this with. It IS METAL muff, not
rock muff or something.
Metal muff. The distortion is a bit thicker in the mids...which is actually
very important when playing with a band if you want to be heard. Metal muff
is a great pedal.
Metal Muff kicked ass. I tried the pedal in a local guitar store. I got
deep Pavement tones all the way to ripping leads. Its like the bad ass
cousin of the MUFF ;D
Got a Krank Distortus Maximus and just got this one too, Metal Muff all the
way! It's so much more biting, tougher sounding, more shapeable...YEAH i
just love it!
Set the treble to 10 o clock. Middle to 1 o clock and gain to about 2 o
clock with the bass at 3o clock and it's an ok pedal IMO. The EQ is
massively sensitive.
Idk why someone would use a Les Paul with mini humbuckers into a Fender
2*12. It's just nasely. This pedal with proper pickups and a good Tube amp
is legit.
I use my 7 string Epiphone Les paul with Seymour Duncan Invaders, a fender
stage 160 with celestions and The Metal muff and it is crushing to say the
least.
Nice vid, but wouldn't it make more sense to test it on something with pups
more suited to metal, and maybe not on an amp which is renowned for its
cleans?
@tofujr However, i was looking for a review like this - In a very
alternative punky sort of "a day to remember" sounding band - metal muff +
holy stain :)
