Keep a eye on that Traction beam u cut - especially around the radius arm bolts. The bit of beam and the aluminum 3rd member chunk u cut off is the MAIN support for the diff. Without that long bolt in there all the strain gets put onto the front of beam. A friend split his beam in almost 2 from doing what u did and hard 4x4ing! Undo the coil, shock, swaybar link and maybe tierod. Put a 12 ton jackstand under the front drivers frame and have someone step down on beam. It's tight-but it fits!

now that you say that, It makes me think that I should check the beam to make sure that I have not bent it in that spot

No doubt, I would've had to take out a small loan for a shop to do a 8-10hr job, one shop around here charges 80/hr.
