Our situation is a bit different. He works on a ship, so he's gone for 5

When my husband is home for the 5 weeks, he often also do most of the
dishes, cleaning and laundry. So we've balanced things out :)

I wish my Mcdonalds here looked as good as yours XD .. And Omg! Anime
street looks pretty cool! Who is the one holding the camera for you? Been
wondering for a bit now.
I was pretty surprised at the McDonald's here when I first came to Japan since I didn't used to go to the ones back in America. I had a friend coughslaveinterncough help me with the camera sometimes lol
They have a lot of limited time pies here too in McDonald's (maron, or chest nut flavored pie, chocolate pie, beacon and potato pie, etc.) I think generally Japan really likes selling limited time goods everywhere (probably to help promote sales?)
They also rent costumes at some purikura (those sticker photo booths) places in Japan too for people to wear and take pictures with! Though at some places, the clothes are worn way too often and are sort of stained and smells.... weird.
That toilet stuff, what you call "butt spray" is called a bidet :P They
have them in Korea too! My parents loved it so much, they got it on one of
the toilets in our house. Haha! The bidet scares me too.....
I'm going to Kansai in spring 2016, but I can't decide whether I should
stay at the dorms or with a host family. What advice would you give? I
think both would be fun in different ways.
