Why does everything have to be "Hype"-Man chill-stop drinking those energy drinks and take it easy. You want a hype band, Hype dancing Dolls, Hype Band Director, Hype Fans, Hype Mascot, Hype Alumni, Hype football field, Hype official, Hype players, Hype ambulance driver, Hype Janitor, Hype teaching staff, Hype lookers on-outside the stadium....Man please. The dancing dolls are classy and sassy, not some strip club dancers like let's say umm...Texas Southern?!

see they alright and they are the best SWAC band but i prefer to go to TSU...yes their trumpets can scream buts its very sloppy and i have nothing against that but their main probalems are balance issues...they cant blend at all...when the band plays as a whole the melophones drown out the trumpets while the b-tones drown out the tubas and their trombones always sound out of tune now im not saying that TSU is perfect but i prefer them over SU

not tryna be rude but su dolls are really boring 2 watch...they have no energy whats so ever...and 2 be quite frank it looks boring! i understand tradition but for su 2 have a hype ass band they need hyper dancers. people might call the dancing classy and it nothing wrong with that but sometimes they should just know how to get down... then they would defiently be the best or one of the best dancelines in the swac

This is a college band and how the hell are you going to a high school when you can't even spell? second you band probably doesn't even play this type of music so you don't even know how the real song sound to even say the arrangement sucks. third they march Fiberglass sousaphones because they want to it is apart of their history something your school does not have hints the reason they section name is what it is.

I'm a trumpet player and those screaming trumpets are the truth but they hanging over like A&T and it sounds bad. But good. Not everyone can scream takes breath support and air. I can't scream but I'm learning. OOOOO The ending was nasty! In a bad way. Please dnt get defensive just take it in. That's what I do and we get hate on all the time. Not that I'm hating.

Probably because Southern is no joke...ever. Hampton is cool, no doubt, but Southern is like the King of the Bands. Southern has been doing this since the 80's man, these other bands are just trying to come up. The History and heritage is with the jukebox....now let's all kick on "8". Yeah!

I don't like that arrangement and I"m 38 years old I was marching in FAMU before some of probably where born. Morris Brown had a lot of potential. I think when DR. Cross came to Morris brown around 2000 MBC was killing bands softly. They went to SU homecoming and laid fire to they ass.

Bouncebak, I'm no longer in high school class of 96 if you need to know. My comments however, or not fictional but hold significant amount of truth to my previous statment.Therefore, let me say that Southern Universty "Human Jutebox" is often imitated, but can never can be duplicated.

Once again I must comment on your false litigations. It's obviouse that you're not that great in math. If I graduated in 96, how does that add up to me being 40? Shows that you spent alot of time in a band room,(if they let you in) and not enough time in a class room.

I'm the last one to talk crap about anyone or any school. However - this is not the SU of old. I'm sure this is just one of those off days but I remember when SU commanded major major respect. The time/feel just seems wrong. Are they listening to the rhythm section?

You can't blame this on SU. SU has the HBCU on lock. The "Crazy Annoying Screaming Trumpets", are just on point. I think the video or You tube for not given us the full effect. However, you still sang "DANG" at the end. A Real Fan of SU BAND

Having more enrgy dosen't mean "unclassy" when dance lines have more energy they look like they're are really into what they're doing. I wasant thinking TXSU but more on the lines of JSU. I love the dolls though.
