+milton toro He doesn't know how to rv. You can get free water at state parks etc. You can park just about anywhere. It depends on the State/county you are in . My cost was about $600 a month and varies on the driving you do.Winter months cost more if you are in cold climate.I boondocked most of the time. Rest stops in the country and truck stops. And old closed down strip malls. You save and stake paper for when you want to rent a spot. You have to be smart and crafty in how you rv. You carry your whole world with you. It is best to know how to work on yours also Oil change tune-up etc.Carry a extra alt, starter, water pump and belts.

+milton toro When you work or move often in the RV it is more expensive than parking in one place for days, weeks, or months as many RETIRED folks do who have a monthly income while looking out the window. That's kinda the point.

$1200/month is more than I paid to live in a shared apartment.

Not everybody want their amigos to live with them.

another question, in which scenario would gas be cheaper? pulling a camper with a vehicle, or putting gas in an rv? i cant decide which route to go

Camper and rv are the same thing RV=recreation vehicle, now you're talking about trailer camper or motorhome, never choose a trailer, look for a claa b or c motorhome

hello there, great video thank you for all of this info! i do have a question, now, how exactly do you get an rv payment? do you need to aquire a personal loan first? im very new to this, may sound like a stupid question but i could use some guidance, no one i know has rented an rv, but thats my goal so im asking!

+cici carmella Much like buying a car, most RV dealers will help you with financing your purchase, or you can get a bank loan.

$1200.00 a month is very expensive to live in a Rv in my opinion.

+Linescrew1 And also you will eventually own it and have no payment for the RV, and you have a contingency fund. I want to do this because I can work remotely and it would be cool to travel to a new place every week and still do my job as long as I have internet.

+Linescrew1  With food and entertainment included, I agree that it is reasonable.

+Joseph M Not when you consider Canadian costs, in conjunction with our slightly higher incomes. This cost includes full insurance for 2 vehicles, ($1,000,000 liability, comprehensive, collision: $260), $180+ in bridge tolls per month, $300 in fuel, $160 cell phone plan with data connection, $250 pad rental (that includes electricity), and the rest is maintenance, food, incidentals, propane, booze and entertainment. For the Vancouver area, this is dirt cheap.

Here is a typical maintenance scenario living in an older vehicle …… //www.reddit.com/r/vandwellers/comments/2mpu3i/a_short_read_on_my_experience_living_in_a_van/ estimated cost to maintain an older high mileage van, car, truck, rv: The used vehicle market is buy, beware, and pray. vehicles are sold AS IS no refunds what so ever.............. Low dollar vehicles are usually money pits. To live in an old high mileage van, car, truck, RV. For those starting out and and are going to try and survive on little or no income while living in any of these vehicles, Know that studies show old vans average $150-$350per MONTH in breakdown costs and total catastrophic breakdowns $2,000 to $3,900 are common, that’s why a lot of OLDER vans are selling “on the cheap”. When building the inside of a Van etc. to live in, don’t over invest on permanent improvements inside the van; only invest in stuff that you can take/move with you to your next van. Be putting money back $250 every month for a catastrophic breakdowns or repairs or total vehicle replacement.

+Bob Fullton realistic advice, older vehicles are usually going.............going from one $ repair to another

I'm in the process of traveling to Atlanta out of DCA or BWI. Do you know if Delta Airlines still operates the 757 on this route or actually any route in the DC area? The 757 is my favorite aircraft as I am an airline buff. Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon. My name is Arthur

Delta has several 757 flights out of DCA, but I am sorry - I do not know if they go to ATL. Thanks for watching. 757's are great airplanes:)

Thank you very much for watching and commenting:)  Yes - it is always a little sad when an airplane retires!  (The pictures I have seen of airplanes stored in the desert are also sad and lonely.)

Nice! On 3 miles of highway you could drive 3 miles, on 3 miles of railway you could travel 3 miles, with 3 miles of a runway, you could travel to th ewhole world! BIG LIKE!

Fantastic video my friend, amazing shot! Love seeing these 757s at DCA. Planespotters.net likes to mess with me on these "stored" things - I always catch these Dash 8's of UA Express and I check the reg on the website, they say it's wfu or stored :L

Thanks for watching, and commenting.  BYH seems like an unusual place to store a 757.  Maybe it is temporary.
