Teen In Jail For Months Over Sarcastic Facebook Threat
It was a sarcastic Facebook comment during an argument about a video game. And, according to the father of 19-year-old Justin Carter, it was enough to land ...
This has to be one of the most ridiculous fucking events to take place. The
system is getting so fucked up for the fact this kid could be facing 10
years for an incident he hasn't even done in the event it's possible?
Sarcastic or not that is fucking absurd considering people are suppose to
be innocent until proven guilty, and he hasn't committed any acts of harm
except trolling around on the fucking internet. Agreed anyone that would
commit something like that is a fucking psycho and deserves to be jailed
but you can't start putting people in fucking jail for an action that could
happen because otherwise a lot of innocent people are going to start ending
up there because of cases like this that happen to not be supporting our
god damn constitutional rights.
I don't blame the cops. Someone comes to you not too long after Sandy Hook
saying someone threatened to shoot up a kindergarten, you have to take
steps to investigate to cover your butts. They got the warrants and
searched the house. It makes sense what they did. Upon not finding
something, they could have been a bit more lenient. $500,000 bail for what?
That's just excessive. The kid has learned his lesson. Drop the charges and
let it go. He has suffered enough.
good...kids like this who think they cant be touched need to learn respect.
he shall be an example. and dad...shut the fuck up and man the fuck up.
your son made a mistake and he will pay for it. i will point out that he is
19 yrs old, by law he is an adult...so everybody making a big deal out of
it.....you are whats wrong with America, you give these people passes until
they push the limits and then everybody gets confused when the kid does
something serious.
imo, your trying to rub agents people to get an edgy on people. we get it
you're edgy bro. its almost like your so with the system of brain wash its
like outside the system.. so your so fuck'en cool with your 1 sided viewed
opinion. now if you don't know what: ganking dem creeps and just be chillen
in the bush like garen means. GTFO my interwebs brooo!!!!! your so fuck'en
hipster. Btw, this message was brought to you by Layorik... You vlad bro?
yi mad bro?
I understand his original post included "lol and jk", which for some reason
were not included in this report. Yes, this whole thing seems absurd --
couldn't they have interviewed him to discern if an arrest was merited?
Imo, our law makers are failing us. This arrest and charge might fall under
the Pat Act(?) -- a nice sounding law. Watch "Hotcoffeethemoviedotcom" it's
on nflix. We need to change campaign finance and elect more ethical
lawmakers.
The 1st amendment dose not give you the right to say whatever you want. If
you say anything that causes mass panic and can potentially harm people it
is not protected under the 1s amendment. The justification here would be
that he caused a mass panic. That being said, I cannot believe that this
kid jail. The people involved here are choosing not to consider the context
here.
Owned? Troll? I don't think you see the seriousness in this, Would you
really want to live in a country where anything you say could potentially
put you in jail? because thats where big brother america is heading to. Or
maybe you rather enjoy sucking NSA and Obama's dick as their slave? Fight
for your rights and your free of speech or become the sheep.
Like I said, its a loose -loose situation. I don't have the answers, all I
know is what I read and research. If nothing happened and the guy went out
and did something stupid, everyone would bitch because no one did anything.
Then you have the case where they do something and again they are wrong for
over reacting. No one wins in these cases
Finaly this fat, disrespectful kid's able to lose weight. Everybody knows
that baig brother is watching you, even now the NSA is checking my
porndownloads. Yeah, somebody is always the mad man and in that case Justin
is. 8 years without any TV and/ or internet...hey, he will leave the prison
as a completly new human.
His family should look at this as a money maker and sue the FUCK out of the
state after a jury of his peers finds him not guilty which is a no brainer.
Idiot prosecuting attorney there. 1st amendment anyone? No victim = no
crime. Period.
WAKE UP EVERYBODY, THESE SARCASTIC WORDS ARE NOT SO SARCASTIC, IT IS
SATANIC MASON MIND CONTROL, ILLUMINATI PUT THE HUMANS IN JAIL WHO SEEM
POSSESSED BY THE DEMONS WHO MAKE THEM SAY SUCH HORRIBLE AND UNHOLY WORDS.
WAKE UP
I agree with you to a great extent David but, what would happen if the
authorities had done noting and this kid did something stupid. Personally,
I think its a loose-loose situation for everyone involved
laforce36, this is a complete mockery of justice and you think that
arresting a citizen born in this country for a joke online and calling it
terrorism is ok.. well you sir are fucked up in the head
Even disregarding the free-speech issues in this case, one has to wonder
what happened to the right to a speedy trial or a fair bond amount when
murderers go free on bail at one-quarter that amount.
And if he had done something to you, you would want action taken.....We
need to starighten up as a society and instill discipline back into our
young, it will only do them good.
Alot of stupid people on both sides. Waste of tax payers money across the
board. And he's a dumb shit for saying it. It's not funny to threaten
children even if it's a joke.
England: haha wat the fuck y you messed up bro haha- he replies yea I'm so
messed ima go on a massacre lol jk Amerca:YOUR GOING ON TUCKING DEATH ROW
YOU FAT SACK OF SHIT
That news program left out one thing - at the end of his comment, he wrote
"lol just kidding". This case is revolting beyond words. It's what Nazis
use to do - seriously.
This is a violation of the first amendment which is FREEDOM OF SPEECH and
people say stuff like this on the internet ALL THE TIME! I always see stuff
like this!

Are you out of your mind?!?!?!?!?! He thinks he's above the law? did you see her arrest? She is directly responsible for prosecuting DWI offenders! She should, for nothing else, step down for respect for the office she held! True Democrat, she trys to shift blame of her ruined career on the police that arrested her! Like that excuse has ever worked for anyone! Now he's the bad guy????? The one who is doing what ANY democratic governor would to to a Republican! I am neither of these, but i do see how this game works.
