KENOSHA CO. DA Robert Zapf fits the description of a crook. see WICOURTS.gov case 2007-cf-000038 and 470. These cases were DISMISSED after Jeff Tennant spent 11 months in jail. This is especially standard operating procedure in the state courts of the state of Ga., including the N.Dist Federal court and the 11th cir federal appeals court. They will change the cases at bar, ignore the retroactive changing of criminal records by County and State courts, the addition of criminal convictions for crimes that were never even charged, and the subborning of perjury by superior court judges. If people knew WTF these corrupt courts were doing, and how powerful they were (especially since Clinton's AEDPA one yr limit on challenging illegal convictions), there would be protests outside every courthouse in the SE USA, especially Ga. I am a hard corp conservative Republican btw, but they have also participated in allowing these Democrats to use the Constitution as toilet paper. This film barely touches on the actions of these courts, the prosecutors, and the lousy criminal lawyers that are allowing this with full awareness and cooperation with the state and these corrupt judges. Do a little research. Cops catch hell for shooting hoods that rob store clerks and then attack them, but the public cares not about their own rights being destroyed. Amazing.

Unfortunately, it's a common story in Ukraine too! But John Thompson wouldn't have chance for retrial. 'cause our new Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine 2012 doesn't give such a chance for real retrial. And we don't have independent courts here. I'm glad John Thompson is free! Great movie!
