I,ve posted a question on the ford freestar dies out video under the name
Cassandra Bobart.I assume you can't go back and check all your old videos
for new comments. so I guess I'm wondering if I should text or email or
snail mail
+Chad RossI appreciate the clarification. I guess the other 50% has been pulling its weight.....it's been working fine longer than you've been on the planet.
+srercrcr Better than nothing, but bearing/chassis grease can absorb up to 50% of it's weight in water when just exposed to air. Eventually causing more corrosion. Anti-Seize is the way to go. Brian got every little detail correct (as usual!).
I like to put a light coat of copper or the silver aluminum anti-size on
the posts and terminals. Since there's metal particles in the anti-seize, I
would think it should help with conductivity and at the same time protect
against corrosion! What are your thoughts on this?
+mrexecutive1 I generally stay away from anything like that on terminals, the mixing of the metals and their reaction with the electricity flow causing an electro galvanic corrosion reaction worries me. With the dielectric grease they are protected and it has no potential reaction with the metals or the environmental factors surrounding it. The dielectric grease has been the sure fire way to prevent corrosion issues for me for many many years now.
