Here is a long overdue update on my current thoughts and feelings regarding my purchase of my new car, the 2015 Honda Civic EX.

Since you have a coupe it DOES come with a subwoofer... Ex models and above (coupe only not sedan) come standard with 7 speakers including a sub. Maybe there's a problem with your specific car that the audio system doesn't have enough bass? Or you just like really strong bass?

+paramoist I just bought this car last week, I sold my 2012 Honda Civic coupe because I couldn't see to back out etc, traded up for the safety features. HOWEVER, I was VERY pleased with the 2012 sound system...I don't know if the former owner had anything done with it...but it sounded really good. I ASSUMED this new one would sound the same...it does NOT. I'm going to replace the door speakers, and the inside amp.Just replacing inside stereo parts, leaving the big screen & interior completely intact. Hopefully this should solve this rather FLAT sounding audio system. If the car has Pandora capabilities, mind as well enjoy it.

+Guillermo castilla I don't have a garage or anything, the car is outside in the elements. This winter has been very cold. Only 2 minute is not long enough to defrost the windshield or warm up the car, 15 minutes is long enough.

Hi Paul79UF, my friend has a 2012 Honda civic and the rear seat release (from in trunk) has broken. He wants to repair it himself. Honda will sell him the part but no one will give him instructions on how to repair it ! Cant find a shop manual or help online. The left rear seat is jammed and wont release. When you pull the release from the trunk it sounds dis-engaged. Cant get the seat to release. Can you help ? Thanks.
