Audi TT Climatronic Climate Control Panel codes: Unlocking t
Unlocking the Secrets and display speed (km/h and mph), temperature, climatronic diagnostic codes and more within the Climate Control Panel of your Audi TT.
I've been wondering about a digital output for speed for ages....this is
fab. Is there any similar output for fuel or oil levels? My dash has
started going south. I took it apart and managed to partially correct the
fuel gauge, but it's still a bit off. I know I can get the dash pod fixed
by a third party, but I was wondering if there are any viable solutions to
replacement. The dash pod though nice; I would like to update, if I keep my
mk1 for the foreseeable future :P
does anybody know what function number is the aricon, i am having a real

Hi ... i have a mk1 225 and i would like to know how can i change the power
distributed between front and back wheels ? ...something like 70-80% to the

HEY great vid i tried this on my TT , blew me away hehe :) look one
question bro ,, please please reply to me the name of this song please do
so or if any one can,, much appreciated :) :) :)
Yes you can. To come back to normal operation without switch off the
climate control, just press and hold the recirculation button and the
manual flow control up arrow again. ;-)
This looks really cool, can't wait to try it! I just have one question -
can you go back to normal operation? I don't want to screw up my climate
control haha.
well done to you we love tt's in greece so we thank you

How to enter hidden service menu in Audi A2 A3 8L A4 B5 Climatronic (secret HVAC diagnostic)
Thanks to this quick tutorial you can easily access hidden service menu of your Audi A2, A3 8L or A4 B5 Climatronic. In this secret diagnostic menu you can find ...
+Mocanu Radu Bogdan, I didn't find anything about changing Climatronic firmware. Most likely there were no critical bugs that need to be fixed, so there's no update. That's what I guess. This hidden menu has the same (if not less) functionality as diagnostic software (VAG-COM, VCDS, VAS) that you connect with with car using the OBD2 port. And since software/firmware update would have to be performed with such diagnostic tool (or even more expensive and powerful), then you could as well just check those parameters. But again, this is just me.
+mr-fix it is a 2001 model, this firmware, can u update it or something like this. Can i run some kind of test to see if it has this functionality? thx againe
Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering bc I click on that link and it
warns you "Performing this procedure may cause permanent damage to your
car."
+El_Skippy IMHO - none. Most of those functions are just readouts from various sensors in your car. Even if you select channel that can be adjusted by Climatronic buttons - if will go back to default after turning the car off and on again.
How to reset and calibrate HVAC flaps in VW Climatronic (Golf, Passat, Jetta, Scirocco, Touran)

+mr-fix Thanks but I don't have an Off-Button. But it is not important. All works fine, but sometimes it makes a loud click noise. But it is very infrequently and short. It is a rattle from the flaps.
+melo beaSt didn't tested it in Astra H, but check out our video from Vectra B. There's a calibration procedures that might work in other Opel cars.
Fixing Bad Catalytic Converters With Inefficiency Code P0420
Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 46 years, shows how you can fix a bad catalytic converter by cleaning it. And, If you like my car help, be sure to watch my live ...
I have a question I have a 2000 lexus es300 I got to codes on the scanner,
its both fuel ratio sensors that need to be replaced, and the car doesn't
have full power as it should , and also I think it needs a new catalytic
converter also
+Scotty Kilmer yea but the original owner told me that it needed a cat too, but I put it on the snap on pro scanner & it said the sensors hopefully its that can those sensors affect the maximum performance of the car it runs but not with the full power it should have
Would CAT Failure keep the car from even turning over? I have an 06 Malibu
Maxx SS, 3.9L V6. Drove the car, runs perfect. Get home from work, come
back out 30mins later, car wont start, check engine light is on. Turn key
and you here click, can also here starter engaging flywheel but doesnt turn
over. Put my code reader on it and get 2 generic engine codes, 7e8, and
7ea. Was told those are two generic codes for Cat Failure. Battery is good,
fuses and relays good, far as i can tell starter is fine, would Cat Failure
keep it from starting, and if so how can i diagnose the problem before i
spend a ton of money on something? If it is the Cat, will removing the
upstream O2 sensor allow car to start but run rough? And if so is that a
surefire way to tell Cat is bad? Im at a loss here for why it isnt
starting.
Will the light turn off while driving or do u have to reset it somehow like
take cables off the battery ? I just replaces the fuel pump, would this
trip this 420 code ?
+Headshothorror4488 if it fixes it, it will reset itself. If you have a bad fuel pump that does incorrect pressure, yes, it can trip that code indirectly
Hey Scotty! I have a 97 jag xj6, my cat is clogged with some sort of
liquid. I believe it's excess fuel. Can I unclog my cat by just pouring
lacquer thinner even though it's clogged with a liquid?
+Scotty Kilmer I have a small hole in my muffler so I believe that's throwing of the oxygen sensor and causing excess fuel to clog it.. Although it could just be rain water
I have a question, my 2005 Honda CRV doesn't have a check engine light on,
but the repair shop ask to get a new catalyst converter. because when they
check it on computer the catalyst is not showing and it fail on the smog
test. any suggestion?
+Alarm Tech911 try this, sulphur is inside the cat making that smell

Thanks for this Will. This procedure worked perfectly on my 2002 E320. I
have a problem with the system continually cycling with the key off (and
cycling the duovalves as well), which caused my battery to go flat while I
was on vacation. I'm going to try clearing the codes and see if this stops
the cycling. If not, is there some other procedure for syncing the climate
control system (similar to syncing the windows, headrests, sunroof, etc)?
+Jeff Fine So I did the first test with the duovalve disconnected, and it showed errors for the duovalve, the coolant circ pump, sun sensor, and the charcoal filter open. I reconnected the duovalve, and got this:416 - coolant circ pump234 - sun sensor416 - coolant circ pump417 - left duovalve418 - right duovlave424 - charcoal filter openI then cleared the error codes, started the car and let it run for a few minutes, then checked again - no error codes at all.I am still getting the cycling issue though. There is a click in the center console, then after 2 seconds, a second click, and some small fan starts up. This runs for 6 seconds, and then another click, and the cycle restarts. During the 6 second interval, the duovlave is also activated. The valve gets quite hot after a short time as well. This all occurs with the key in the full off position, or removed from the ignition. (Something in the REST circuit perhaps?). Any ideas anybody?
I'm just getting the P2017 code, if I understand right that's just the
sensor. Do you think I could just start with removing the sensor and
cleaning it? I assume cause I'm not getting the P2004 code I don't need to
remove the manifold? (08 Avenger 54K miles)
+Eikm85 Heya, I followed his video and instead of using wd40, I just replaced the intake manifold sensor, it cost me $117 dollars. I have a Dodge Caliber and it took me 6 hours to remove the Intake Manifold. The dealer quoted me $98 just to diagnose the code, I can imagine it would have cost me a good $800 to $1200 dollars to raplace all. This guy is a life saver and I am very thankful for including god in this video too...
I had the same issue in my Dodge Caliber - you can see jammed engine here
www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-k380YibBA and WD-40 fixed the issue. Flaps work
properly now - I can hear airflow pitch change above 3000 RPM just like
before error.
I did it without taking off manifold - just engine/battery covers and air
box.
Code has to be cleared through OBD2 interface, it won't disappear on its
own.
You can check photos from procedure here:
//www.caliberforumz.com/showthread.php/41958-FIX-P2004-P2017-Intake-Manifold-Runner-Control-Stuck-Open
Please read carefully. First link shows only jammed engine as described. What did you expect from description "you can see jammed engine here"? Dragons? Second link is the full fix procedure.
+Pawel Pabian (bbkr) - Pawel's video link is a waste of a click! Pawel's video just shows him WD40ing a manifold that isn't even connected to anything! WTH?!
first off, thanks soooo much for the video...had this code forever and i
like to do my own work, but couldnt find proper info i needed for my dodge
caliber....so, i checked everything you showed and its all exactly the same
as yours...its stuck open, the sensor has spring tension.......what do i do
now? @oldskool funk
Like everything except the part about the power steering pump removal and
installation . . . You made the rest look like a piece of cake. Someone
that doesn't realize you skipped over that part will be lost as soon as
they look at the first nut on the passenger side of the manifold, down low
- the one you dropped the nut on in the video. You cannot get the intake
off without removing the power steering pump and all that requires. Other
than that little bit, awesome video.
