hello I received these coils from you, including the NGK sparkplugs, I hope
to put them in this weekend in my 2014 Tiguan S. 46K miles on it now. I
hope the engine will be a little smoother. Thanks for the instruction

+Deutsche Auto Parts; hello I just finished putting the red coils and sparkplugs into my 2014 Tiguan TSI 2 liter. Thanks to your video's !! I was able to manage it after a couple tries, my Tiguan seem to run smoother and more evenly with the red coils and NGK plugs. The old VW plugs start to wear after 45K miles when I looked at them after taking them out, good to replace them indeed sooner then is prescribed by the manufacture. Thanks again I keep on looking at your webside.
There are many people who claim that they have a hotter spark or are less likely to have misfires. We have not seen any data to back that up.We have never heard of them causing any issues.

After I replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs on my 2010 CC R-Line
2.0T, the car still jerks and shaking sometime while it being accelerated.
No CEL or anything. Can it be the ignition wiring that causing the
problem?
Thanks in advance
+jm9ism Not likely to be wiring related. Where did you get the plugs and coils from?

I've been laying in bed stressing about replacing my harness because the
housing is broken on two of my connectors, thought I would have to do a
bunch of cutting and re-wiring. Glad I found this video! Thanks guys
+peidavey We assume you are referring to the harness we discuss in the article below. Please note we do not recommend trying to repin that harness as the harness have been updated to a newer version that has longer wires. //shopdap.com/vw-mk5-jetta-drivers-door-harness-1k5971120h-1k5971120g/
How do you remove the plastic harness sheathing that is protecting these
coil connectors? I want to de-pin my old broken connectors and replace
with new, but they are held in by a plastic cover across all 4 connectors.
Is there an easy way to pull out the connectors themselves without
breaking that cover? I notice it has little tabs on it. 2009 VW Jetta 2.0

i have a question and was wondering if you or someone else could help me
out. Today while driving the engine light came on and oreilly told me it
was a code of third cylinder misfire and they told me it could be either
spark plug or coil. The car was shaking and responding slow so it makes
sense but my question is how can i know or is there a way to figure out
exactly what it is before spending money on the wrong items. THANK YOU FOR
YOUR TIME! I APPRECIATE
If the code pointed to a third cylinder misfire, it may be a bad coil on that cylinder. We carry new ignition coils on our website with free shipping. Here's a link to them on our website. Hey Thomas. Those wiring diagrams look like they're from Mitchel-On-Demand.
I remember you saying in the past that you were going to switch over to
them. How do you like using their wiring diagrams compared to VW OEM
diagrams? Nice way to confirm that the coil is dead.
+stuzman52 I have been using mitchell more and more... but there are times when I still look at the factory ones. My (early) dislike for spaghetti wiring diagrams stems from my high school days. I recall them being over crowded and not color coded. The VW/Audi diagrams always seemed to just show what you were looking at / for, with easy to follow wire & track numbers. With mitchell, I think it is easier to see other things that tie-in / could affect a given circuit.
