@mattvitt117 Did I say that you made a personal attack? No. Read what I
*wrote.* You will see that I understood that you were discounting her
*remarks*. However, this video is about the GEOGRAPHY of Israel. She says
that TRADITION identifies the Dead Sea area as the site of Sodom and
Gomorrah. That is accurate, as far as I know. She makes no remarks in this
video about homophobic sentiments in the ANE. I disagree with
anti-homosexual bigotry too. END of discussion.
@mattvitt117 Almost all pseudo-historical claims in the Bible are
discredited by the legitimate archeological community. It is a work of
fiction written by and for bigots. That is why I illustrated and uploaded
this lecture series. However, if you think that Prof Hayes' remarks are
bullshit, I suggest that you take it up with her.
Bullshit. The existence of Sodom and Gomorrah is not accepted by the
archaeological community AT ALL. They were made up biblical cities use to
express bigotry towards homosexuals.
@heterodoxism2 Did I make a personal attack? No. Did I discount her claim
because it's illegitimate? Yes.

Bird migrations in Movebank: Americas
Researchers track migrations of individual birds around the globe using satellite and GPS technology. This video, along with the video "Bird migrations in ...
The bird names and color legend at the end include colors and species names
for both of the videos. I agree it is difficult to compare them directly to
what is on the video because it appears at the end. If you send your email
to support (at) movebank.org I can send you a PDF copy of the legends,
which may make it more easy to identify species in the video.
It appears you have the bird names for the Eurasian version of this video
at the end, instead of the bird names for the Americas. It's a wonderful
video (but would be even better if I could check which birds were which
color!).
I see now, I was wrong and the names do match up. I'm still very perplexed
by a couple of the N. American species, but I have most of them figured
out.

Red Ice Radio - Felice Vinci & William Mullen - Baltic Origins of Homer's Epic Tales
Ignorance is a bad thing, a very bad thing to be specific. Do not use it to
affect people, others might get offended as I got by listening to such
historically inaccurate and never proven things. I know you people from the
north are well educated, you really impress me you completely ignore the
fact that when Homer lived and wrote his masterworks peoples in the north
of Europe hadn't even organised themselves in proper societies, after all
history began to get recorded in the northern areas after Christianity
arrived, how can even claim such things about ships etc when there are no
historical facts of that time in the north recorded? You utterly miss the
fact that Homer lived and wrote in the 9th century before Jesus' birth...
What northern tribes were doing and how they passed time then, hmm, only
God knows for sure.
+AshenCold You lie very bad man, the reallity can you see in my nordic bronze age videos. There the Nordic people togheter with the Greeks was the most advanced in europe to produce bronze objects during a time period of over 1000 years.
There is archaelogical evidence to suggest that the proto-Greeks originated from east of the Baltic sea and migrated south into GREECE between 2000BC and 1650BC
