Very nice car and video. The only thing I don't care for are the non
factory side exhaust. Car would look much better with the Chevrolet Factory
Side Exhaust made for the car instead. Have owned 3 C-3's (3rd Generation
Corvette) Coupes for those not in the know such as this one shown above
still owning one of them and also a C2 Coupe ('67) and C5 Coupe ('99). Had
the factory Chevy Side Exhaust on all three C3's and my C2. By the way the
L88 hood on this '69 Coupe looks great.
i have several questions regarding these cars: How much do these cars go
for once they're restored like the one in this video? My second question is
how much does it cost to restore these cars starting from the engine,
frame, body, and interior? I just want to know what the estimate would be
that's all
Very nice c3 ! I have a 240Z, but I do love to own one of these aswell,
maybe in the future. Or a C2, I think the C3's outside looks are beautiful,
but the C2's interior is much nicer. But you gotta love that piece of
american history v8 !
Awesome car and video man. Not to many ppl make such nice HQ videos like
this of their cars for YT. It's good to hear some side pipes when you're
taking gears by the camera, not to many ppl do that either lol
Well, pal its not that hard to fix those issues. If you need a play by play
I can write you exactly how to do it. It requires removing that area of the
dash of course. Shes an awesome vette.
What a beautiful video! I've seen anything like that - just incredible! The
shots, the views, the roads and most of all - the sound. Now isn't it the
best car ever? Mind if I download it? :)
I made this Video when I had just bought the car in 2010 ;-) I fixed that
all in the winter 2010: zuendler.com/corvette-seite/resto/resto.htm

So, going through the tunnel you have the door ajar warning light on and
the seat belt warning light? Why? You think they look cool or just to slow
to shut the door and push the button?
Well done. Too good for YT. Most viewers won't appreciate the amount of
effort to film and edit a video like this. I do. Good job. Great car. Great
scenery. Cool camera angles.
When I worked Valet at a local big casino, a guy brought in an all-original
1969 427 4 speed stingray in gold. Somehow I got to drive it, and every
time he came in, he made sure the same person drove it. The car was always
parked up front next to the exotics, a lot of times in such a way that
Bentleys and such were blocked from view. Incredible car.
NICE I'm not too into the stingray vett but I luv the 427 1's I mean ya
kinda have to right? It's got a 427 for goodness sake!!!! LOL!!!! thumbs
up!!!!
@dogstar7 LT-1 Stingrays were made from '70 to '72 They have the same hood
as in your video, but instead of the "427" there is an arrow -shaped
pinstripe in it's place with "LT-1" inside of the stripes. All had heavy
duty 350 engines with solid lifters for high RPM's made for racing. All
were 4-speeds with heavy duty running gear and suspensions. The best way to
tell is the stripe and the higher redline on the tach (unless equipped with
A/C). Just look up LT-1 or LT1 stingray to see others.
@dogstar7 First of all, the LT-1 Corvette was NOT a big-block 'Vette.. They
only came with H/O "LT-1" 350ci V8s... Secondly, they came with M-20 or
M-21 close-ratio transmissions, with a 12-bolt rear with either 3.73 or
4.10 posi gears. Thirdly, while they shared the same style hood as the
big-block 'Vettes, they had a unique stripe with either a plastic emblem or
decal spelling out "LT-1"...
@Q1KLT1 Hard to argue with that a name like that. The driver didn't give me
much to go on. I'll leave it up for now to prompt more discussion. What
should we be seeing in the LT-1 package?
