Great historic reporting. I like the superimposition of the historic photos with the modern day counterparts along with captions depicting this tragic event. Malbone Street was renamed Empire Boulevard in an attempt to erase some of the bad memories and fear created by this bad accident . Perhaps the bad karma cannot be erased. You are a true artist.

+chitgussin Paranormal investigators would have a field day in and around the Malbone Street Tunnel accident site, the abandoned train platform as well as the station itself.The view @ 0.26/3.54 is indeed spooky

Thanks for the history lesson, i work at this station and i've been through the Malbone street tunnel several times...i was totally unaware i was traveling through history, i knew of the accident, now i know where.

+stephen charles Mr. Charles I am honored by your message- Wow! someone that works there!!! .... When I was a small kid, that station seemed sort of spooky (late 1950's) . My older brother also said he felt strange at that station (early 1980's). The last time I saw that station was during a vacations trip to New York City in 1998. It still looked spooky, even my son and daughter had this strange look when they saw the section that was closed and dark. I no longer live in Brooklyn, so I made the video about it.
