“Finally,” thought Jeznar, standing and reaching for his aching lower
back, “that is done.” It had taken most of the morning, cleaning the bright
oak timbers of the Solitude grand port. Jeznar grumbled in spite of himself
and admired his handiwork: Each plank was scrubbed free of mildew and
lichen, and each was freshly polished with that water-resistant substance
the mages developed over in Winterhold. Excellent. Even that smarmy
Argonian wouldn’t be able to find anything to complain about, which was
saying something, especially of late. The shipment of rare herbs and spices
from Vvardenfell was several days overdue, and the lizard was taking out
his frustration with his favorite hobby: Assigning deckhands menial tasks,
hoping for one to talk back. Jeznar wouldn’t bite though. He just did as he
was told and kept his head down. He knew what would happen if he
complained.
“MAKE WAY!!!”
The sudden shout shook Jeznar from his reverie. He turned, and stepped
back in alarm. There was a man, no, a woman on horseback, galloping up the
jetty. The horse’s hooves slammed against the wood, sending clods of mud
and grass everywhere. “MAKE WAY!!!”
Jeznar stood stunned as his morning’s work was erased in front of his
eyes, and had to throw himself sideways out of the way of the crazy woman
as she pelted down the pier. She showed no sign of slowing as she neared
the end of the dock, and to Jeznar’s utter bewilderment (and utter dismay),
she leapt the horse over the railing and into the water with a wild cry and
a tremendous splash that rained seaweed and silt everywhere.
He was still staring at the woman as she climbed the far bank, when a
malicious voice sounded right next to his ear. He could smell fish on the
putrid breath, and turned glumly, knowing who it was. The Argonian
dockmaster was grinning.
“Jeznar. Have you been napping all morning? This dock still isn’t
clean. Back to work!”
The headsman says to Annaïg: Keep your head about you.
Me: HA. -.- ---
Ewww, I just had one of those moments in which I was trying too hard to
rationalize HOW Annaïg even GOT the Chaurus eggs from the dead Chaurus...
Did she have to reach inside...? --- Okay I'm not thinking about that
anymore! NO THANK YOU.
I always imagined Elder Scrolls player characters have something like a paring knife they can use to make quick incisions or scrapings for whatever alchemical ingredients they're harvesting.

Lol every time you do alchemy I facepalm at you because I can tell you
don't do much of it. I am ALL OVER alchemy with ALL of my characters simply
because I think it's fun. And then you're all surprised when you find a
"super potion" just from mixing three ingredients together. XD
Well, you have to remember: Annaïg doesn't really know much about Skyrim ingredients other than what she's learned in the LP. I have a pretty good idea what does what, but I can't just "stumble" upon the crazy stuff without trial and error.
As always, nice video :) It's a shame this LP is coming to it's end Annaig
has grown on me but all good things must come an end... You've made her a
great character and you have my congratulations ;)
I am very curious to what you're going to LP next care for some spoilers? :P
Btw, I think that bounty came from the mod "I Yield! I Yield!" because it
makes NPCs who yield non hostile and therefor killing them a murder and
that last stormcloak yielded... but roleplaywhise it does makes sense she
would kill him ;)
It was funny when you said, "I don't really care to do much body
searching," while searching every body in camp. LOL ;-)
It DOES seem odd that you would incur a bounty for killing those who
initiated an attack first, and being Stormcloaks also. But I think the
bounty is for Windhelm anyway, which will probably be pardoned by the new
Jarl once Windhelm is taken by Imperial forces.
BTW I love that you named your storm dudes Peter.
I think the bounty was because I have the I Yield mod installed. I was a little slow with the coup de grace and as a result it counted as a murder.

Thanks for the compliment! Actually, we're no longer a band. But from what
I hear, there have been some other spiffy bands playin' up there on
occasion. And, ya never know, you might see a few of us back up there for a
"reunion" gig or somethin'. :)
Thanks for your comment! Actually, I believe we kind of modeled our version
from the Glass Harp version. I wish I could get the groove like their
drummer does! :)
Not Bad, and a great choice of music. You should hear Glass Harp cover it.
