These cars are dirt cheap for some reason, my friend just bought a 2006 with 100K miles for 3 grand. Time will tell if it was a good deal

+Gordaton Yeah, for the first 100k miles. After that you're better off with a new car. Engine failure is not a simple easy fix either. It's always a lot of money unless you get lucky because you pay for things to be fixed, not knowing specifically what it is.

Hozee, honest people can discuss disagree, but "You are very ignorant" is not discussion.  I have learned over time that insult and name calling are a cover for lacking a convincing argument.  I like my 2002 five speed and that settles the argument for me.  While I am at it, Gordaton: Originally the Sebring I drive was intended as an upgraded LeBaron.  Combining LeBaron and Sebring sales exceed the various revisions of the Miata. But both vehicles were very suxccessful.
