Nice video. I have quite a bit of wheel hop on my Suzuki Swift Sport so hearing about polyurethane bushings was quite pleasing :)

Yep. Powerflex bushings are great, but hard to install and square out the handling. My mate with a swift sport has full poly bushings and it does help a lot. His main reason was squeaking after putting in kw v3's.

doesn't it make a bit harsh as a every day car? some guys told me that it becomes harsher and the interior rattles a lot more on regular roads...

Coilovers do help a lot. But bushings are a great upgrade. I've relubed all my stock bushings. And with added bracing I don't think I'll be doing a full replacement for another <year

thanks, I guess the coil overs with lighter wheels help in your case... mine is practically stock and it has an added mass of 20mm wheel spacers...

I have a swift sport, full coilovers (Hks hipermax iv), big rear sway, sticky tyres, enkei rims. No matter how hard I dump the clutch i don't get any wheel hop. But bushings and uprated engine mounts help overrall handling characteristics.

FYI, all dynos are not created equal. This dyno will baseline a stock brz/frs/86 at about 150-153 whp. So hitting 223 is an increase of about 45% or 70+ hp at the wheels on California 91 octane.

i think stock its around 174 so thats a gain of 59 hp which means around 34 % more power ... thats pretty much to take for a stock engine ... if you beat it hard even that can make your engine last like 1/3 of its stock lifespan ...

pretty poor cooling setup, putting the inter cooler over the top of the radiator = BAD, then on the other side you put an oil cooler. effectively covering up around 35-40% of the radiator! on the passenger side there was a big space I would have vertically mounted the inter cooler and made new pipes. or HKS could have made a top mount WRX style (perfect for a boxer, the engine has heaps of under hood clearance) much better options then what and how this was installed. pretty disappointed.

There are pros and cons for each FMIC and TMIC setups. Even with TMIC, radiator cooling can be compromised...If you don't understand then you have much to learn.  The HKS setup is nice. With the given engine bay space it's not bad at all! FMIC and relatively short boost tubes...what more can you ask for?

+jack black It has it, because it is cost effective, not because it is the best solution.I have two lying in my garage collecting dust if you want them.Think about it.  Heat rises.Not only does heat rise, BUT you have to force air in to a positive pressure area.The car is moving, air is coming in through the front radiator, pressurizing the engine bay.At the same time, your scoop has to force air in to that area.It doesn't work very well.The setup shown here works quite well, and is well thought out.

Wrx has had top mount since inception. Plus with a air scoop in bonnet. The only time u wld get any sort of heatsoak. Wld be after the car was sitting after being run. Aka hot start

So wait a minute.  You obviously have a PHD in this, so forgive me for asking.You would rather put an intercooler ON TOP of an engine, rather than in front of a radiator?  Maybe you're not aware of this ... but heat rises.  The top mount intercooler is one of the first things to go in any build.Putting your intercooler in front of a radiator isn't nearly as bad as you think it is.The energy you are dissipating from the intercooler isn't very much, and it's pretty permeable.  Driving your car over some dirty roads will cause way more blockage than this.The BRZ/GT86 also has pretty bad under hood clearance.

GTTとはGTターボって事です。GT-Rとは違いますね。同じくR34型スカイラインです。大きく分けてGTとGT-Rがあると思えば大丈夫です。スカイラインGTはGF-HR34とGF-ER34があります。その中にも4ドアと2ドアに分けられます。駆動は後輪駆動のFRです。HR34の場合RB20DE 2リッターでターボはありません。ER34の場合RB25DE 2.5リッターターボなしとターボありのRB25DETがあります。基本的にスカイラインGTなのですがターボがつくとTが入ります。この動画のはGTTとなってるのでGF-ER34ターボってことです。GTTのER34ターボとGT-Rとの違いはエンジンが違います。ER34ターボのRB25DETシングルターボとGT-RのE-BNR34 RB26DETTツイーンターボ 同じ280馬力でもGT-Rのツイーンターボと4駆の方が速いです。GT-Rは2.6リッターなのでER34 2.5リッターと排気あまり変わらないけど実際に走ると差が開きます。長文で説明下手くそですみません。一応自分が元HR34オーナーで現R32GT-Rオーナーなので少しだけスカイラインの知識がありましたw

GTR vs GTT2.6Litre vs 2.5LitreTwinTurbo vs TurboAWD vs RWD6MT vs 5MT/4ATFew cosmetic differences.Slightly shorter bonnet to accommodate for higher bumper. Fenders are a tad wider. Bigger spoiler, 18inch wheels vs 17. GTR looks aggressive, GTT not so much.But both are rated 206kW of power though. ;)
