I've wanted a Mini ever since I first laid my eyes on you, and that was when they were first released (not the original Mini, yet I would love to have one of those too). Soon, I hope to have enough to tade in my current car for one. I only have a few demands, British racing green with the white checkerd top, manual transmission and leather interior. Everything else is fine by me. Oh, and I saw one on EBay one time, pushing out a little over 500 HP. Bid was at a little over $30,000.

The CONVERTABLE ENDED THE SUPERCHARGER IN 2008, The HARDTOP BECAME TURBO IN 2007. The New cabrios are turbos Dont talk shit to someone who actually owns these cars fuckhead, dont ever call me a liar. ok, not bad but some camera work on the actual corners would have been cool, maybe a shot from the interior as it did the quarter (which wasn't obvious) and even a camera shot facing the car as it whizzed past at the end would have been nice. Just a couple tips for the cam. Looking at the mufflers at the end for several engine revs did little. Otherwise, a cool shoot and great subject.

but all of the automatic trans suck... manual all the way :) love my getrag trany. the auto's may be "quicker" in a quarter mile, but they are still slower around the track, and if you even mention 300+ hp to the auto trany it will just give up there and keel over and die, while the getrag has been known to handle well over 400 hp.

The mini isn't a girlie car in my opinion just because its small the new beetle is feminine and but i would stay away from getting it in bright colors....and why give a fuck about what people think or say anyway? just get what you want rock it and not give a fuck.

hmmm. i do have attractions to manuals more than automatics. But automatics have paddle shifters which are cool. But you do make a point about the power....Yeah manuals are better. but autos can be cool. Manual all the way then!

I got a cooper 2008 .. the guy that want to trade a 325 for mini s .. my advice man go right now i trade it .. i use to have a 320 2007 n i traded it for the cooper a hell of a ride man and the type s OMG thats all i got to say.

Very safe, also has a ton of leg room. I'm 6'3" and when I go all the way back in the seat my feet don't reach the pedal. I'd have one if I could afford the price tag. Instead I drive a lovely rugged Jeep lol.

I own Both a 2008 R52 S (supercharged) and a 2007 R56s (turbo). The Turbo kicks ASS all over the supercharger. Both in comfort, quality and crap loads of torque.

No doubt, brakes are about 1000, 600 for the front alone. Even cheap tires for the 15" rims are about 90-130 each. Great cars, but never forget, it is a BMW.

they are neat, but my 2000 Impreza is 2700lbs, has 270CHP, AWD and gets 27mpg city.... I just can't justify the Mini at this point.

The Cooper 0-60 is 8.3s, the S is 7.2s, and the GP is 6.2s. The Cooper 1/4 mile is 16.6s, S is in 15.3s, and the GP is in 14.5s.
