I moved to New Orleans, AE86's seem to be more difficult to find here than they were in NC.

Love it! I had one of these, one just exactly like that one. I freakin'
loved that car, man. It was a great car. I beat the crap outa that poor
car. I used to drive it on a early morning commute at a tad over 100 mph
for about an hour straight. How I managed to never kill my young foolish
self I'll never know, but man, did I love that car!

How hard has it been sourcing parts/finding what you need? I know the
internet is everyone's best friend nowadays, but just curious.
I've been wanting to bite the bullet on one of these for some time now, and
finger is getting ever closer to pulling the trigger I think...

Depends on the part and model of the car. A lot of the interior and exterior parts are becoming discontinued. These get cleared out quickly in the junk yard. And some things money can't buy new... hehe. But engine, brake, etc parts are still available in the aftermarket. If you buy one of these cars, be sure to join a forum. That's where you can get some parts when kids part them out.

Not very hard, but it costs a lot more money than you would think. The two dinky door handles were like $80.00
