Kel-Tec PMR-30 .22 Magnum Pistol Shooting
BigDaddyHoffman1911 showing and shooting The Kel-Tec PMR-30 .22 Magnum "30 Round Magazine" Semi-Auto Pistol at some steel targets at The Hoffman ...
Hello Mr.Hoffman, hows it goin'?
I was going to pick one of these up maybe a month ago. What stopped me from
getting it was... well, kinda serious. I saw a video of this man's PMR
exploding.
Should I just throw caution to the wind and pick one up?
+BigDaddyHoffman1911 Hey bud! Good news, I got me a PMR-30 today. And here's the kicker, I also got a Sub-2000 for $470 bucks! What a steal.From what they've told me, Sub-2000s can go from $420 to $1500.
+Taylor Perry All I can tell you is I have several shooting buds that own this pistol, have several myself and never had a problem. Let me know if you get one......Thanks Taylor.
Wheelchair Travel Tips -Boarding a Plane & Renting a Car
Great travel tips from Mark, a paraplegic and experienced wheelchair user, on everything from checking your wheelchair, getting an aisle chair, to getting your ...
I am in a chair and the airlines destroyed my wheelchair it was so damaged
I had to trash it. I only use hospital wheelchairs when I go on the
airlines so it won't cost me $30,000. its too costly to have destroyed
wheelchairs so thats why I use a hospital chair so when it is destroyed it
is little to lose but the bad point is you have to travel with it and rent
a power chair at the other end. I lost a $6000. wheelchair in 1982 that I
had to throw away it was just mangled metal. today are 30,000
I had a very bad experance and many of my friends also have had the same
problem. Do you travel on the airlines, did you have a problem with your
Tilite with the airlines? I would be shocked if they allowed you to bring
the Tilite on the plain unless you paid full first class fair and even then
they probely would say it has to go with the baggage. I know it could easly
fit in the cabin but they just don't do things to help us. Plus don't have
enough insurance to cover the cost of a wheelchair.
no they won't , better to travel with a cheap basic wheelchair you don't
care as much that they distroy. They are good at distroying wheelchairs so
just get a cheap institution chair they have in nursing homes which are
$400. and keep your $4500. chair home. Your have to use that cheap chair on
your travels but you won't lose $4500. The insurance does not cover beyond
I think $1200. So they won't cover the cost of your chair. Many
powerwheelchair users use a $400. chair not to lose $30,000.wc
A Invacare power wheelchair is $30,000. now and a Tilite is $4,500. now.
Today When my wheelchair was destroyed in 1982 a E&J power wheelchair was
$6,000. in 1982. for a major disability a basic E&J power wheelchair was
$3,200. for just the power wheels. and today a basic Invacare power
wheelchair costs $5,900. that is just power for the wheels. That is still
to costly to risk on the airlines for those with milder disabilities who
just can't walk and can't push a manual wheelchair full time.
They have a smaller folding aisle chair to help you to the washroom if
needed. I usually use the washroom at hte airport just before boarding
though and don't drink a lot before or while I'm on the plane so I don't
have to go while on the plane. This is a lot easier because you don't have
to be pushed through all of the people on the plane getting caught up in
people's arms etc. Then I go again as soon as I'm in the next airport
before going to luggage claim.
Greate video! My teenager son has severe spastic quad CP and required
extensive supports. None any airlines ever allow his manual wheelchair or
electric wheelchair that is only 23.5" wide to be pushed to his seat. The
airline funkie aisle wheechair is a joke, so his dad usually had to carry
him into the seat. If your wheelchair has a hi-back, be parpare for the
airline to dis-assemble it, because it will come back looking different
then when it went in. :)
I'm afraid if the airlines take my chair away from me, I won't get it back
or it will be damaged. Do you know if you can keep your chair with you on
the plane? Mine is a Tilite TR with folding back but rigid frame. With the
wheels off and the back folded down it can fit in a pretty small spot. Is
there a way to find out in advance if the airline will leave your chair in
the cabin?
I'm a 10/11 Para. Thats kinda weird that alot of you have had probs with
Ableboddied's taken chairs I have traveled around the world, many times by
my self and in almost 20 airline flights over 24+ Yrs of travel Only once
did some old bitty try and sit in my chair..... But I don't think she was
mentaly all there.... If you are woried about it tell the atendent.....
Do you use a wheelchair? I don't understand giving up the best chair for a
hospital chair that would be miserable to use. I wouldn't use a hospital
chair unless I was in a hospital. They are horrible, and cause pain besides
being heavy and difficult to use. A hospital chair is an option when I
don't have another and I'll avoid that situation at almost any cost.
I asked my question a long time ago, not planning any travel now and
getting a new, more compact chair anyway. But if I was traveling I would
never use a hospital chair, for me there would be no point to the trip. A
friend travels with the same model as I'm getting. I'll ask if he keeps it
onboard in the cabin.
i know what a friend of mine used to do.. eat alot of rice or somethin like
that that obsorbs water... take (i think its called) i diaretic, so u dont
hafta pee (ask a dr.)... and avoid tea or caffien, they constrict the
bladder... hope i helped and didnt give any bad advice :-)
Thank you sooo much! Ive been scared to death to fly. I read that your
chair is only 27", is that true? You look as big as me, & I use a 40". I
doubt my chair will fit down the aisle. Also, is it impossible to use the
bathroom on a plane? Thanks again for this video!
Another good tip- if someone is traveling with you, have them get off the
plane right away after landing and make sure that no one walks off with
your chair. Actually saw someone grab a person's checked wheelchair and use
it as a cart for their carry-ons.
Excellent video! I'm disabled myself and this extremely helpful. I flew to
CA from VA a couple of times around 10 yrs ago or so and I got bumped to
1st clas which was awesome but I would have found a video like this very
helpful b4 I went. Thanks
What an awesome video thank you so much EasyStand. I had my accident nearly
a year ago and was really not looking forward to flying. I just wanted to
let you know you have really helped a newly paraplegic guy down here in oz
thanks mate! Wheelz.
Thanks for the video. I have a question about tire pressure. Do you need to
lose some pressure before you fly, will the tires burst? I have Schwalbe
Marathons and they are 145psi. They won't work with less than 80psi. What
do you think?
I had never thought that rental car companies had the hand control options.
I'm not disabled and don't have anyone close to me who is, so it never
occurred to me.
