+Q8 Fly The new border crossing might be a dangerous border crossing for another reason, and that is the sharp twists and turns, which seem to be leading to more accidents at SB border crossing than I can ever remember, not to mention the fact that, during rush hours on some afternoons, SB traffic on I-5 can back up as far as Dairy Mart Rd., or even CA-905, which is a 2-3 MILE back-up on I-5 going SB into Mexico, and SB I-805 regularly backing up to at least CA-905, if not to Palm Ave. or even Main Street in southeast Chula Vista on REALLY bad commutes (Main Street in SE Chula Vista would be about a 3-4 mile back-up on SB I-805 entering Mexico), which is something that, in the 30 years that I lived in the San Diego area, never happened.In other words, the new border crossing seems to be making the SB San Ysidro border crossing as much of a traffic nightmare during rush hour commutes as the NB border crossing heading to the USA has always been.

That happened to me in january! I entered with my car by mistake, i wanted to park & walk across into mexico!! They never even check our passports or anything, suddenly i was in mexico! Dangerous bordering crossing! If i had my passport in the hotel they would have thought i was crossing into america illegally
